Ideas for Halo 3!
Express your ideas for Halo 3 here! What should they keep, what should they take out?
What do you have to say?
I think they should put back in the passenger view of the warthog they had in Halo 1. I found that more realistic. And, the Assault Rifle.

VEHICLE CUSTOMIZATION!! You cannot customize which vehicles you want in a Halo 3 custom game nearly as much as you could in halo 2. They added SOO MANY new options for customization, but they got rid of your vehicle options. As far as vehicles go, you can only choose the category of vehicles you want to appeare on the map (such as tanks), but you have absolutely no control over which specific vehicles you want (such as a Scorpion tanks.) This is terrible, because unless bungie just needs time to add more options, YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO USE A SCORPION OR GHOST ON VALHALLA, EVER! [Edited on 06.04.2007 5:10 PM PDT]

ok i was just having a very random thought involving the spitfire from ww2 and i started thinking what if u put a gun in a tire that worked like a gatlin gun... then it hit me. YOU CAN BY HAVING A GIROSCOPE HOLDING A BELT FED CLIP then this hit me... wouldnt it be fun to do that in a video game like halo... put that on the four-wheeler and u got a thing almost like a human gost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that we should get a human flying vehicial also halo 3 should be longer than halo 2. Halo 2 just seemed realy short where as halo seemed just right. Thirdly i think that the battle rifle should be single shot intead of bursts, like the one in the old halo 2 e3 footage.

I think you should make Halo 3 like Duke Nukem 3D. That's part of the reason I played Halo. That's just my 2 cents.

take out; invisable walls!! seriously, i have always loved glitches sense the dawn of videogames. something to do when your bored of captureing the flag for the million'th time you can go do some bounces or explore outside the map, go where you shouldent. and i know there are kids out there who arrent into the whole glitching thing, and that's fine, but there are TONS of kids that are fasinated with learning a new superbounce or exploreing outside a map. there will always be glitches no matter what you do, but all these restrictions (invisable walls, death barriers) are changing the expierence until it's not even halo any more. putting the death lid on tombstone was probably the lamest thing bungie has ever done and if bungie keeps going in that direction it will be the end for halo. Keep; sword canceling (i mean come on, how is this cheating?) and take out all the frigging death barriers.

First of all Bungie, Congrats on your Marketing activities.... u got everybody so worked up about H3 just like an alcoholic needs its booze after being sober for a month. I confess... u got me too. However I trust you'll make the best version yet BUT TAKE NOTICE on 2 things : 1) PLEASE (1000 x) do something about that *&^%$#%# LAG for European users !!!!!!!! Matchmake european users to european users. Work that out and you'll score 10 out of 10. 2) Make quiting during un/ranked games much harder. Like shutting off your console. During Ranked games they should drop AT LEAST 10 levels !!! The quitters influence the game so bad I start playing other games. One small 3rd) Cheats, glitching (superjumps) standby buttons, WTFever...... C'mon guys. Get real. It's too sad they need it, but u MUST prevent that to be able. Good luck ! Vinnie K.

WOW! Is this thread still alive?! I lead this thread with some other people now active in my group Halo 3 Ideas and Stuff (feel free to join, by going to the link in my signature), untill we hit about page 250. By then this thread was as good as dead, when all the people with good ideas left it (including me). It seems this thread hasn't had any significant changes since then, people are still saying the same things over and over and over and over again... There is no real point for this thread anymore i think, but you guys just have fun =P

change the firing sound for the assault rifle to the one in halo 1 . sounds too much like a paintball gun.

In Halo1 marks of fight were bodies, bulletmarks, random vehicles and weapons and a lots of blood Halo2 marks are same and it added all boxes, racks and brokable objects, but where did the blood and bulletmarks disappear? Both were good so including them both in Halo3 would be great.

They needa make a Human Airplane, if they didn't do it already or a Human solo vehicle i mean, there is no good human vehicles that has a weapon on it that u can operate alone besides of the scorp the Warthog requires at least 2 ppl.. The Covies have the Wraith the Mauler (maybe) the Chopper The Ghost The Banshee and those can be used alone

Ya The First Person View For Passenger Seat For Warthog Was Awesome they should have a button to change view so u can have a choice if u don't want it.
