Because it can 3 shot body shot faster than other hand canons can with 3 headshots. It has green slime which has another psychological effect on you, and it prevents bypasses the in game healing mechanic (and firebolts, but. In general shouldn't be a thing since it completely ignores health regen).

You're so stupid. Thorn requires no effort to aim. For a hand canon of the same archetype you need at least 2 headshots and 1 body shot. When a gun that shoots at the same speed can do it without even getting headshots that's is what you call broken you -blam!-ing idiot.
