Trust me pulse rifles suck at the moment , wait till they get a buff.

No, they are massively useful if you know how to use them. Pulse Rifles are the most consistent weapons through all nerfs and buffs we've had, the month of OP rifles at 2.0 was fun for sure, but before and after they are still solid mid to long range weapons. 3 burst kill since vanilla has been the most common archetype anyway, and they still do that easily. 2-burst is still possible with the right perks.
-
Thats the thing , you need special pulse rifle skill to use the weapon , if they get a buff you wont need to worry that every hit needs to be a crit.
-
But that's the whole point of a pulse rifle, and always has been. They are a precision weapon that rewards good aim and consistent shot placement, with the advantage of firing in bursts to make up for the range drop versus a scout rifle.
-
I think the damage is too low to be honest, i can easily use a auto rifle in its place , if i need a medium to long range i use pulse rifles , i usually have people down to 10% health and they quickly find cover before i can finish them off. They got nerfed hard, from 35 crit to 29 , trust me it makes a difference.

Well they've been my PvP go-to since the start of the game, I have nearly 60,000 total kills with them and over 28,000 precision kills. About 12K of those kills are PvP, with a 64% Crucible precision kill ratio. Knowing the right situation to push an attack or hang back and half map someone is the easiest way to keep them from dodging away with a sliver of health.

Check my warlock
-
Not enough range
-
Well I'm not gonna try to cross map someone. With 96 stability, range doesn't matter. It's not a gun you camp with.
-
Well the Hawksaw on my Titan is better IMO. It's got nearly max stability with about 4 times the amount of range as yours
-
I saw. Head seeker is kinda pointless on a pulse rifle with so much stability
-
Couldn't you say the same thing about Counterbalance?
-
No. When taken King released they increased base recoil on all pulses. Your hawksaw moves to the left or right just a tiny but. Mine goes straight up.
-
I had a Hawksaw with Counterbalance but with a little less stability and honestly didn't notice a big difference
-
It's all just personal preference I guess. Either way. With this archetype of pulse rifle, it doesn't matter what perks you have. As long as you get your head shots you'll usually win any encounter

Yep exactly, Three burst to the dead = one dead guardian
