Its a measure of how much time u spend in the crucible. You could have a low medal score and absolutely wreck when u play pvp

True except you will rack up those medals fast if you are good.

It does help but not as much as you would think. I checked a user's profile who has a better kd, and about 3.5x's as much time played in the crucible as me and his medal score was roughly 3.5x's my score. That's just one example but it's usually like that. A person would knock my medal score but have like 9days of crucible where I have like almost 2 1/2. I'm like wtf lol
