IMO having light values on them made zero (=0) sense from the get-go. We're supposed to customize our Guardians look and at the same time one of the key elements, our class exclusive trophy representing our past adventures and accomplishments, is tied to a character stat which affects our key power level... Do I really even have to explain why this is a bad design choice...??
Upgrading gear is one of the key elements of this game, but our class-item should absolutely 100% be an exception.
Makes me sad to look back at all the cool class items I've dismantled because I cant use them without tanking my Light lvl.
I dont wanna wear that bling just in the goddamn tower, I wanna wear it in combat!
EDIT:
Nice to see a fairly strong reaction from the community regarding this issue. ^^
I wonder how many man hours was spent coming up, designing & creating all those beautiful uncommon and rare class-items which are all completely ignored and dismantled on sight simply because they don't have a high enough numeric value attached to them... =(

1 ReplyNa light lv just fine the way it is. Does not need to be removed. Instead bungie can add a Transmogrification option in exchange of in game currency.
