Dude.....Shut Up.
I cannot even begin to tell you how wrong this is. You want an intelligent debate? Fine. here's an intelligent debate:
1: It takes 24 hours for the earth to make a full revolution, just because its spinning at 10,000mph doesnt mean jack compared to your inertial reference frame. You are standing on a surface spinning at a constant (or close to a constant) 10,000mph which means you're spinning at the same speed. If the earth were to suddenly stop THEN you would accelerate off into oblivion, if the earth accelerated you would turn into a pancake. Going back to your earlier point however, if you were to jump, since you are spinning at the moving at the same speed as the earth, relative to an external reference frame, when you jump you are actually always jumping diagonally. you're jumping up, but you're still moving with the earths rotation at 10,000mph sideways. so you land in the same exact spot. Take this as an example. if you're on a train moving 60mph, and you decide to jump off, you will notice that not only did you move forward off the side of the train, but off to the side a fair amount before gravity made your face hit the dirt. This is the same concept.
Also, to go to you're jumping up and waiting comment, its not viable, and here's why:
1: the earth only rotates on its axis, so say you need to go north to south, even with the earths rotation, you're not going to move to the southern hemisphere from the northern hemisphere. period.
2: also, you hovering in the air would mean you could only go to areas that have the same longitude as you, which is one reason why this would be an impractical form of travel
3: you could only fly one way, you wanna go the other way? you would have to wait for the earth to make a full rotation. thats impractical too. you know that one hour flight from arizona to california? try 23 hours instead doing it your way.
Jets and other forms of aeronautical travel however, can take you anywhere WITHOUT ANY of the above restrictions.
Science classes do demonstrate proof of this, it's the people who swallow the science says so so its true. the entire scientific community is based on a principle that everyone must try to disprove each other, and the more people fail to shut down an idea, the more that idea becomes a theory, and from a theory, a law. The first fundamental principle of science is to assume nothing is completely true in the fullest sense, even laws are just extremely likely to be true, but could still be false in a certain way. that is how the scientific community progresses. Your average Joe probably didnt even take a physics class to begin with and herp derps his way through life, and that person will say "its true because science says so" but believe me when I say there IS proof, some of which I have indicated above. If you have more questions or require clarification feel free to ask.
Also, don't just take my word for it, here is a Ph.D in physics (Neil DeGrasse Tyson), explaining in a rap just how the world is circular, and how the idea that the world is flat is total bogus, and the reason i posted a rap is because it will make it entertaining enough for more people to see it instead of a boring physics lecture. you're welcome.
Oh and he offers proof too.

You sir, fell for it. Hook, line, and sinker.

read the comments and how much prophet defends this idea and tell me if i fell for it hook, line, and sinker

Thank you for engaging in debate. However, it seems that explanations of this sort rely on simply positing a description, or force on a phenomenon. Why would letting the earth rotate be impractical? If the earth was a big beach ball like you claim, you could go from Denver to New York just by floating. Sounds convenient to me. However, we have to fly there. And this is evidence that our world is flat.

1: what phenomenon are you referring to so I can clarify that. 2: Letting the earth rotate would be practical for 2 reasons. -the Earth is still quite massive, and so despite it's impressive 10,000mph rotation, it's almost a snails pace with regard to how big the earth is, which is part of, im sure, your confidence in allowing the earth to rotate us to our destinations - 1: Back to the reasons however, the earth only rotates in one direction, so while Denver to Colorado could seem practical, going in say the exact opposite direction would be implausible. even flying to a neighboring city going against the earths rotation would take a full 24 hours. See the dilemma there? - 2: the amount of energy required to keep us hovering in the air would be massive, as it is, most airlines utilize aircurrents to lower their energy ourputs and maximize their potential flight distance, in the case where the plane is flying against the earths rotation you are actually going to your destination at a speed of 10,000mph (earths rotation) + the speed of the aircraft, which makes it faster and requires less fuel. In the other case however, planes will fly at an angle upwards to allow the earths rotation to bring the city closer to them as they go, also making it a faster modus operandi, thereby also requiring less fuel, if you will. Both cases utilize not just the speed of the earths roation, but their own speed and flight planning for more efficient travel. staying in the air would cost more energy because you dont gain the increased speed associated to your destination, which means you need more fuel to stay up for a longer amount of time. That makes your floating idea impractical.

But he refused to listen...
