But how to get the 150 marks per weapon to purchase them? She found that every time you rank up the Vanguard or a Faction, they give you a legendary item, which all require level 40 to equip, but when you dismantle them, you get three legendary marks. That was when her quest started, in her words, "to be the most powerful level 34 in all of Destiny". Here's how she [b][i][u]Became Legend:[/i][/b][/u] [b][u]On Patrol.[/u][/b] Vigilant. Determined. I can't fathom the number of patrol beacons she activated and completed to rank the Vanguard and a faction a total of [u]150 levels[/u] to purchase the three weapons that cost a total of 450 legendary marks, but she had a goal and she saw her mission through to the end. When she was done, she came here to tell other guardians of her triumph, to announce her title as "the most powerful 34 in Destiny" and was met with a mixed response. A lot of people called her [b][i]retarded[/i][/b] for spending that much time to accomplish that goal in such an unorthodox way, and said she should have just bought TTK if she was going to pour hundreds of hours into the game anyway. This was the most inspiring part of the tale for me: She responded that she did not appreciate being called [b][i]retarded[/i][/b], as she has a mental disability and is unable to work due to it, so she had the time to spend as she chose, and it was not a waste to her. If that isn't Courage Under Fire, self-confidence despite obstacles, and what people should strive to be like, then I don't know what is. Someone actually made a post about their workaround for this. Basically, they grinded out patrol until they rank up the vanguard, then dismantle whatever legendary item they get from the package. 3 legendary marks per item. Then they saved up enough marks to buy year 2 legendary items from the crucible quartermaster because you only have to be lvl 34 to equip them.

Im so sorry your game experience is like that. Without taken king the game is basically devoid of content. Hate bungie for pulling such cheeseball moves. But to help you out, grind and grind strikes, might get lucky, or buy from xur.

Do POE at lvl 28 and if you have a key you get a guaranteed exotic for each character....that's if you havn't already done it.

Yes you can get legendary gear, you can get it from: Classic 6v6 crucible Tiger strikes Patrol VoG/Crota/PoE Your best bet is via VOG/Crota/PoE

You're going to have to grind strikes for legendary drops. Also buy the legacy engrams from xur

You cannot use Legendary and Exotic TTK gear because it requires Level 40 to use it.

If you have House of Wolves you can get legendarys from PoE that can be used at level 20 and drop at 160 light. Great for leveling up alts.
