So the update that will happen in the future is planned to bring lots of promises for pve content. Increased light level, weapons, and what Deej called a sandbox update.
What does that mean exactly?
Because I consider a sandbox update as something along the lines as the Blades of Crota/Wolf Patrols/Taken encounters. Are these the same thing?

It allows you to explore anything in the world thats within the sandbox. This is from a previous update: At Bungie, we define the player "Sandbox" as anything the player directly interacts with. So Weapons, Subclasses, Abilities, Armor, Exotics, Vehicles, etc. If it feels good to move and shoot, ("Sweet!") that’s us. If it's totally broken or un-balanced, ("Boo!") that’s also us. So very vague, as it could also mean that they are updating anything in the world we play in, they updated the sandbox to include the dreadnaught and the reef (cool), they updated the sandbox to add in a few more pillars on mars too (dull) :)

The Sandbox is the PVE world you are in. Under that description Deej is still being vague as changing it can mean anything.
