12 RepliesWe managed it? Kill the adds as the get out the doors, then run round the edge of the arena. Whoever isn't getting attacked drop solar bases and snipe. It wasn't easy, but it's the nightfall, I'm glad it's difficult xD

4 RepliesNight falls are supposed to be challenging yes, but good lord. Being a 311 in a 280 light level strike and I'm getting 3 shot by Psions. That's not how this is supposed to go. Yes year one night falls were very challenging. But they weren't so challenging as to being impossible. Year one strikes also all had places you could go for cover. There isn't jack shit cover wise in this strike. It's a horribly laid out strike to begin with, then to make the enemies guns do 4 times damage? And then no matter what you do, if you're within 30 feet of that shield blast you're dead in one hit. And then the rewards for 3 hours of your life is 2 below 300 ghosts and a 300 helmet. Can't wait for the fallout dlc's to start so I'll have something better to do.

Edited by Johnny Klef: 3/17/2016 10:05:35 PMIt's really hard with warlocks. Titans with helm of st 14 blind the ads and have a hunter tether them for suppression and more orbs. Dragons breath for ads and BLACK SPINDLE FOR BOSSES. All for some 290 ghost though.. Gotta love bungie.

It's doable. If you have 2 people with Dragons Breath rocket launchers, have them blast the door when the enemies spawn. Use a fire sniper on bosses. Depending on light it should take them out in a few hits.

We duo'd it.. took a couple tries.. basically don't blow the brothers up.. slowly kill till trash spawns, kill all trash, then work brothers again.

1 Replythe way this night fall was set up is terrible. i do miss my year1 gear. but asides from that basically all of these year 2 enemies are bullet sponges. i miss my weak ads. its ok to have a few tough ones in there. but to make em all like that. thats just freaking ridiculous. i bet this strike would still be a pain in the arse even with a year 2 vex mythoclast. the only way to get by is to get real lucky. none of that difficulty requires. skill. it requires freaking luck.

This was one tough nightfall with all the wrong perks. Especially they don't flinch which was just awfull.

Use a sword to block and avoid slam. Then, use Black Spindle to shoot the brothers' heads through the cracks. You can start the mission from inside the structure.
