Should I save exotic engrams for spring update?

What spring update? More like an early summer patch. Fingers crossed for fusion rifle nerf. I also hope they make earning motes of light and strange coins 10 times harder. I live to grind.

I have approximately 60 various exotic engrams stashed in my vault. Once new release comes out I will decrypt them all and post the out come. This should settle if it works or not, at the least I should get Cryptarch packages that are to the new release.

Yes so long as it is an update they are fine to save, but when the next dlc releases it is a different story

I'm doing it. 2 special, 3 primary, 4 heavy (never know. Could be a surprise void/fire Lord or Gjallarhorn), 2 gloves, 1 boot(s?) and a chest piece.

If there's no exotics you want from that slot, there's no harm in saving it.

Worked for me before last content update. 2 chests from vault = armamentarium & TG. NM, multi tool, symbiote plus more all decrypted after update.

9 RepliesIf you have all that you need, than I would save them. Because the armor is already part of TTK. I think it will work. But one quick question guys. So I've found all Titan exotic gear. Let's say i found an exotic helmet for Titan and put it in the vault. If I switch to a hunter, and grab that exotic helmet to encrypt, will there be more of a chance for hunter helmet? Always curious about this but never tried it.

I saved up about 7 exotic engrams and got four 310 items

It depends what class ur looking for, the new upcoming titan exotics are shit, for the warlock u should be going for the ohphidean aspect gauntlets and the astrocyte verse helmet. Hunters should be after the shinobu's vow gauntlets
