I believe an interesting feature for Halo: Reach would be, if you betray too many marines, they try and betray you.
Summary
Think back to the days of Halo Combat Evolved's Campaign. Remember what happened when you killed to many of your own allies. The Marines fight back at you, and try to kill you. This is what my idea is completely based on.
Main Features
*Kill 1 Marine, get a warning
*Kill 2 Marines, get a second warning
*Kill 3 Marines, they attack you and try to kill you
*I don't know what these warnings could be, any ideas would be good.
Since most of you already remember it from Halo Combat Evolved, I feel there is no need making a gigantic wall of text.
Discuss.

Ummm. They do this in Halo 2 and 3 also. It was just easier in Halo CE to do it, sometimes if one jumped in front of your Warthog and you hit them, that was enough to make the rest shoot at you.
-
This already happens. I sometimes attack my marines and they fight back after I kill a few.
Posted by: crptyo137 that is good but it would suck ass
lol
-
..that happens in halo 2 and 3 as well, happened to me the other day, they do exactly that

I've killed every marine on the level the Crows Nest and lived. Exept as I was getting on the elevator, Sargent Johnson comes running out and shoots me once with a assault rifle, and I immediatly die. WTF why are hero's so dam powerful? [Edited on 12.21.2009 3:09 PM PST]
yup and the part that sucks is that after a while they stop shooting you so I would like it if they kept going after you
OK...if you like Marines shooting at you then just keep killing more of them. Problem solved. I don't see exactly how you get your jollies off of this but to each his own.

Halo 3 had a timer if you killed too many marines. kill 1 marine - everyone glares at you kill another marine before marines turn away - they try to kill you, if you don't hurt any of them for a while, they'll stop. kill more, they'll never stop If you kill another marine after they turn away after you killed the first one, then they'll just glare at you again. You can kill every marine in Crow's nest if you space it out like 1 marine every 10 seconds.

It happens in halo 2 and 3 to.
-
Well, it's alot harder on legendary. :)

Halo 3 - 1 marine - everyone glares @ you 2 marines - everyone tries to kill you, including Johnson's amazing 1 shot BRing skills.
-
you dont get a second warning they forgive you just the 1st time you betray them the second time you do it bye bye
-
that is good but it would suck ass

I'm fairly sure this was implemented in the other Halo's as well. Halo 2 for sure... Correct me if I'm wrong?

IF Reach is squad based, and this applied, you would be screwed. I agree, this would be a good feature brought back
