I quit because of sniping and poor network problems.
The crucible is not fun. Whether it's the terrible balance or horrible lag, the game is a terrible multiplayer experience and I've had all I can take. Join me and send a message, stop logging in and giving into the problems associated with PVP. Show Bungie that you won't stand for it any longer. In the end, it's the only way for change to happen.

1 ReplyDon't get me wrong I love crucible, when it plays as intended, but there's no consistency. I can pick any other multiplayer game on the market and have a much better experience without lag, just bought The Division and guess what? No lag, 24 players on one map, bungie can't do 6v6, right from the get go bungie were adamant that to fix connection issues, lag, the players had to apply certain changes to their network set up. Granted wired is always better than Wi-Fi, but to suggest disconnecting all other devices in your home from your Wi-Fi is just bs. Even now, after over a year and a half it's not fixed, players with a "poor" connection (which would more than suffice on any other multiplayer) are punished for it, namely "expect a poorer experience in crucible" bungie says get better broadband service, I feel for the players who forked out good $$$ to play but can't play as they should, not everyone can afford super fast broadband or geographically it's just not available in their region yet. It's liking to discrimination. I do enjoy the game for the most part, but the way bungie treat their players disgusts me and for that reason i've lost respect for them and their game.

Skill based matchmaking was better because it threw lag switchers with other lag switchers and -blam!-ed their little cheat game. Cheating isn't as fun when everyone does it lol

2 RepliesI am almost there with you. This weekend there was multiple occasions at close range where a hunter with a sniper is capable of scoping in and killing me faster than I am able to with a shotgun. Sooooooo frustrating, and I cannot wait for them to change it.

I had a friend play with me last night for the first time. I was asked after a few matches where were the snipers. I said up here in 60k+ kills land with positive kd. Always be prepared for stupid stuff. And a million fusion rifles

1 ReplyFirst of all destiny wasn't supposed to be pvp centric, but due to the drought, that is where you will find most players. Secondly, sniping isn't an issue. This influx of new players previously mentioned have decided to pick up sniping and found that they are pretty good at it. Oh well. Not the end of the world. Either counter and adapt or give up. Your choice
