Hey, y'all.
I figured the guy with the duck was kidding. Thought I'd take a moment to kid back. No offense intended to any of you at all.
I don't want to be the guy who disappears in between major announcements. When I showed up at Bungie, there was nothing at all to talk about. We had yet to even whisper the name Destiny. But we still found ways to have some fun together. That's never gonna stop. I hope.
I know you want more content. I know the people at Bungie who are working on that stuff. They have some good ideas and I'm looking forward to introducing them to you so that they can share them. They have a few more questions to answer before I bring you into the space where you can know what we know.
In the meantime, we're supporting the game you bought and finding ways to try and entertain on Twitch. There's no substitute for fresh aliens to kill, but the fact of the matter is that I like you people too much to stay away until I have an update to reveal. I promise I'll start telling stories about the future when I know they won't change. This has been demanded of me in the past.
In the meantime, please be kind to animals, and please be excellent to each other.
You can be mean to me if it helps. I actually kinda like it.

Deej's reply to this post was actually pretty good. I saw the other post, and it was in my opinion a joke and some people took it too seriously. Deej is trying to interact with the community and no matter what he says, he will get a ton of hate, and a ton of love. It's just the way it is. Starting a long long time ago, in year one of Destiny, and a sentiment that carries through today is a lot of people saying that we were promised features and content that never came, or was drastically changed from what we were originally promised. Deej of all people took a lot of hate for saying things that people thought were set in stone but later changed. So now he is a little quite about updates and new content. This is because Bungie has been burned bad from making grand promises upfront and then later, the community has felt that Bungie didn't deliver. It's only right that they got burned, too. Maybe the content wasn't good enough, maybe it was a lack of communication. I personally doubt that it was outright lies, but of course there has always been a lot of over hyping which has contributed to negative community feedback. Deej and Bungie are in damage control mode. This means withdraw, regroup, change the game-plan, and return with a new strategy. From what I can tell of his reply to this post, among other things, Bungie realizes their miscommunication errors, and is attempting to redefine their communication style with the community. In my opinion it's a good thing that will save us from getting our hopes up with empty promises, and will hopefully help Bingie regain some trust from the community. So people saying that Deej is being too quiet... I don't disagree that it's frustrating but when it comes to a choice between empty filler and unsubstantiated hype, or a quiet period while we wait for real news... well...as they say... silence is golden.

Give them some easily attained stimulations of euphoria. Instead of getting those things from exercising, doing work that you enjoy and making achievements, use excessive amounts of sugar, fat and television. If laws are loose enough, teach them to start smoking weed in pre-teen years so their brains get addicted to these easy stimulations asap and they became lazy cuz you dont really have to work for your fix and you never learn patience. You need your fix and you need it now. This is the formula you should follow to make the most superb generation.
