These 2 guys have a terribly flawed concept of balance. They can't even properly balance anything. Whenever they "tweak" something, be it a weapon or a class, it gets COMPLETELY DESTROYED. Weisnewski has shown the community he can't properly balance the game's weapons, there is always a "meta" for PvP because whenever he tunes weapons, one type always becomes useless and another becomes super overpowered, which everyone will proceed to use *cough* Thorn and shotguns *cough* Merrill has already made a bad name for himself by completely obliterating the Sunbreaker subclass. While the subclass did in fact need to be toned down, Merrill took it too far and reduced the super to trash. They need to be fired and replaced with people who grasp a better concept of balance, because Weisnewki and Merrill's concept of "balance" is "take something everyone likes and make it useless." Edit: I'm not saying they should be fired from Bungie entirely, but they definitely shouldn't be part of the sandbox and balancing team.
