Is the achlyophage symbiote worth the coins?
I've heard mixed opinions. What do you guys think?

no. they nerfed the crap out of it. you get 4 shots - but like 1.5 seconds to shoot them. [spoiler]this is a slight exageration. but the time your super is active is greatly decreased[/spoiler]

Not really. Gives you an extra shot, but reduces your super time. Better off using ahamkara's or something else.

Doesn't it decrease the time that golden gun is active?

No, you don't have time to fire all 4 that's only for pvp In PvE it's fine tho

Not anymore. You barely have enough time to fire 2 shots off, let alone all 4.

Oh yes. It gives an extra shot but you need to be quick to use it.

If you have the spare coins (or a lot of coins stocked up) and do not have it yet, then just pick it up so you have it in your collection. But the helmet is pretty bad after the nerf. You have ~7 seconds to use all 4 shots. So if you have a limited/small amount of strange coins, save them.
