anyone saving exgrams for decoding later?
I was just thinking - with the pending "significant light level increase" should I keep exotic engrams until later? seems decoding them at 310 now would make them useless if the light cap moved up to 350 or so ... especially since the infusion rate on exotics is so low.
any thoughts? anyone else hoarding exotic engrams?

3 RepliesDoesn't work that way. Bungie confirms every time there is a new dlc coming out. Exotic engrams you receive prior to the dlc will only decrypt into old exotics.

I have around 40. Big difference between new DLC and an update.

Yes you should save them. I hope everyone is. Despite what people say, they will open at a possible higher light level or even new exotics. It happened last time when they increased light. It will probably be increased to 330

I'm saving exotics too. No harm in trying. Plus I'm stockpiling motes and heavy ammo synths to rank up factions to get the new gear at a higher light. I'm constantly hitting up Variks

If you do, then you're dense.

I routinely stockpile until the vault is maxed out then turn them in. Seem to get more high light level that way. At least in my perspective.
