Can we still get exotic engrams from the ultra knight ?
I really want to know if the ultra knight can still spawn exotic engrams when killed after using 3 of coins, and if there is any other story missions or places I can farm exotic engrams

I got 5 exotic engrams from using 20 three of coins, is that good or did I waste a lot ?

Are you talking about the hidden knight on the dreadnaught? I very rarely get an exotic drop from that knight. I usually just run the level 36 strikes and use a coin every 15 min or so, which works out to every other strike basically. I probably average 2 drops per every ten coins used I guess. Sometimes more sometimes less.

4 RepliesUltras that have given me exotics last couple of weeks include: The minotaurs at the end of the Black Garden mission The "Ultra Knight" The Tortured knight in Regicide heroic mode before you go through the portal Wormsinger rune mini - boss Skyburners codes mini- boss All the Shades of Oryx in missions And obviously raid and strike bosses

last mission in the black garden, can't remember the name, has 3 ultra bosses at the end. pop one after each kill, normally you can get one every other run. give it a try.

I was going to say it worked last week. I tried it twice today but no love yet but that won't stop me lol. I have better luck with strikes it seems though.

There isn't a general cool down timer like a lot of people think, but they did make it so can't keep killing the same ultra rapidly and still get exotics. If you try it, you'll just waste your coins. Edit: if you want to farm different ultras quickly, Earth patrol is a good place to go. There's a taken patrol mission with an ultra, a VIP mission with one, and the Taken Champions. I can blow through quite a few coins in no time doing that. I'll average 1 exotic for every 5 or 6 3oC.

I knock out the Petra bounties every week. The Taken bosses have been very good to me for exotics. Especially the one that spawns near the start of patrol on Mars

22 RepliesQuickest Ultra is on The Kings of Decay story mission on Earth. He spawns pretty much right in front of you straight away. Problem is people camp there and farm your free kill. Otherwise Ultra Knight is still a good freebie.

Yes, run kings of decay. Ultra spawn at beginning of quest and can be called out repeatlt by killing taken lieutenant. U rise n repeat till an exotic drop. Drop me a line and I can show u the way. Psn: Evo8MR

17 RepliesI run the Court of Oryx. Going against the bosses for some reason don't use up the buff, but contribute to the drop rate increase. I run T1 court a few times and then I do the black heart mission. Pretty much a guaranteed drop every time I do that.

9 RepliesBest farm is shade of oryx in the raid. Doing the 8-8, 8-4-4, or 16 strat you will fight the shade 3x. So just wipe after the third and repeat.

Yes. A friend just got a 310 primary from him 2 days ago. Also the Taken on Mars are super easy. I farm them all the time for exotics. The Taken Knight in the Hollows is especially easy. Usually get a drop about every 5-6 coins. Alot faster than doing strikes for me anyway. Good luck Guardian.
