Slight Matchmaking Refinement - 03/10/2016
[b]Effective immediately in all Crucible playlists[/b]: If your matchmaking cycle lasts several minutes, we've loosened a restriction that will allow you to find matches more easily. We do [b]not[/b] expect that this will impact the majority of players. In rare instances, this may result in matches with a wider variance in skill (i.e. More of us will get our asses kicked, but the connections to our ass-kickers will be good). The connection-based emphasis implemented by [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/44422/7_Destiny-Hot-Fix---03082016]Hot Fix 2.1.1.3[/url] is still in effect. This change applies to a small percentage of our players who were having a hard time finding a match.

DeeJ, Rev team, Bungie as a whole , Thank you for the awesome work on the game. But..... for Trials of Osiris .... please for the love of God make it a fireteam avarage K/D ratio matchmaking system in the first place and then connection based. This will give everyone a chance at the Lighthouse in their own right. And last ... Y1 was better overall. Let us get the boons like in Y1 . The Trials bounties are very nice to have and much appreciated by all players. Cincirely , Phoenix Proteus A devoted fan and player.

I played pvp daily before they started screwing with matchmaking. Now that it's not even fun anymore I think I'm done for good.

1 ReplyFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you.....thank you for making the crucible the most horrendous experience i ever had in my life. Your game is currently unplayable and there is no one to blame but yourself. You should be ashamed of giving your loyal fanbase this kind of experience. You are an embarrasment to the game industry at this point. Your game was not perfect during year 1, but at least it was running smoothly for the most part. Year 2 have been a complete and utter failure in terms of playability. Your constant changes have broke the game beyond repair. I'm disgusted and it makes me sick every time i think of the before(yr1) and after(yr2). Really disappointed and sick to my stomach with your game right now. There, you can pass this message to the people reponsible for this mess you call Destiny.

Crucible continues to get worse. Trying out freelance 3v3 this week and the matchmaking is horrible! One out of every 10 matches is somewhat even. Always against 1 or 2 invincible red bars even though I have a solid connection with low ping. Good job ruining the last portion of the game that had some replayability.

Switched on to play the daily pvp. Spawned in as heavy dropped, died five times from heavy and supers then the game finished. Switched my console back off again.

I keep getting joined into matches where half the team has left ... I had to go 1v3 in skirmish for half a match before someone joined with 1 minute to spare Straight up bullshit

I was going to make a list of what is wrong with crucible, but that would be too long. Making a list for what is going right with this game would be much shorter. List: The start screen works. The menu works

3 Repliesif i play early am (uk) I've always normally got really even fun matches against players around my skill level, but no no not now after your updates, example of today is below, i had great fun getting paired with teams of multiple fire teams of high lvl/kdr/grimoire players. 6 randoms (inc me) vs 2 fire teams of 3 - we got smashed Fire team of 5 + a 318 vs 6 randoms (inc me) - we got smashed Then to finish off pulled another 2 fire teams of 3 vs 4 randoms (including me). So Left game in 1st second, changed characters, went tower got bounties, calmed down, back in matchmaking, dropped back into same game now 6 vs 3 (including me) 6k+ points down, 2 mins left with no mercy rule applied. Fact u continue to put multiple fire teams on the same side rather then splitting them onto each side, allow 6(2 fire teams) v4 games to start, dont apply the poxy mercy rule & then dump people into a game they already quit once says ur match making is just fundamentally broken, please just roll back all the match making changes you've made in the last 9months & be done with it.

Still complete garbage!!!!!!!!!!! I have an easy way to figure the matchmaking for you: 100% connection-based. Should be a snap. I just played Control with 3 red bars on my team and 3 on the opposing team. Everybody was rubber-banding all over the place. This is a -blam!-ing joke. You don't have to worry about the Division or any upcoming games killing Destiny. Bungie is killing Destiny on their own.

6 RepliesI shot a guy in the head with a sniper and he flinched but didn't die, he activates hammer and I die. I respawn and 4 seconds later he dies from my sniper. Plz actually fix lag!

3 Repliesi'm just always being dropped into matches in progress now. Really? I live in a heavily populated Megalopolis. East Coast, U.S. I cant find 12 people to start a match at roughly the same time as me? Nope. Instead, joined in progress, at heavy drop, versus Red-barring people from half a world away. The dramatic drop in playerbase has made crucible as messy as ever. Now i am receiving hate-mail in Spanish. it used to be poorly phrased english. Sigh.
