So Halo 2 was better than Halo, Destiny 2 will be better than Destiny.
That's just my thoughts, but Halo 2 was no Halo 3 ;) Bungie's titles usually get better as they progress.

24 RepliesHalo 2 had the best PvP. Halo CE had the best campaign. Hands down. Halo 3 was them balancing all the glitches and button combos out of Halo 2. That IMHO was the true swan song to Halo. Most balanced MP for sure. Halo Reach was just a mess. The beta was the best Halo PvP experience, ever. Those who played know what I am talking about. Armor Lock and the outrageously OP Assault Rifle. Good times... Good times. Sadface. Then reach was a blueprint for 343 to make a game. That game was Halo 4. Again, IMHO the way Reach's MP Should have been. Period. I haven't yet played Halo 5. Maybe one day. I hear alot of bad from it though. Well see.

Well its a given that they'll get dedicated servers, and hopefully they'll rewrite their code to allow them to balance their game with greater ease.

Thought the exact same thing. Destiny even with its faults is great, otherwise we wouldn't care enough to complain/still play. Destiny 2 is going to be everything we hoped destiny would be (hopefully)

Halo 2 had a hell of a story to expand on though, don't know how they're gonna introduce loads of story and character development at this point, guess they started to with TTK so maybe it can be done

In terms of interesting missions, strikes etc destiny has gotten better than it was in vanilla. In terms of loot and leveling up its gotten worse and that's what we care about the most.

2 RepliesYour opinion, I found Halo 2 to be one of the worst in the series. Annoying back and forth switching between Chief and Arbiter. Levels were shorter and didn't provide as much variety in play style. Weapons were terrible, they literally nerfed every human gun and made so little ammo available that you were almost forced to use Covenant weapons, and a few other things, but overall I find CE to be much more enjoyable than 2. Also this isn't anywhere near the same Bungie responsible for the Halo masterpieces. Most of those people are long gone to other companies and the face of Bungie now is Deej, Luke, and Mark Noseworthy...they have fallen so far as a company plus they are slaves to Activision. No one should be excited for Destiny 2 at this point.

1 ReplyMaybe not dude, just because halo CE - reach was made by a comunity friendly company named bungie, who was splited into two (343), then got a pact with the devil (actvision), then promoted the douchiest guy in the world to a important role (that luke smith guy), then got rid of a lot o talent (writers and musicians), then sold us this shell of a game, then started to not give a single -blam!- about comunity, then got greedy, then got to lie to us. So that bungie of halos is dead and now we have bungo! I loved destiny and played like 1200h but it is not even close to halo ce- reach, and never will be.

1 ReplyI quit playing Halo just a week or two after Halo 2 came out because they brought swords into a gun game. It wasn't any less stupid when they did it here. (I really can't wait until another game takes me away from this dumb shit.)
