Buff Hawkmoon Here is Why! (BUMP to show the LOVE)
Its an amazing gun, and its sooooo good looking. Aside from the sexiness tho here are my points:
-its range nerf really was not necessary since Handcannons overall were nerfed.
-Stability doesnt make up for the range nerf (if u nerf 1 at least buff the other)
-it fires blanks (feels like it)
-accuracy and handling have noticebly changed to the worst
-hit detection feels way off like you know you shot the head but no damage is applied
-other LEGENDARY handcannons have way better stats at the moment
Now i will link this video in which a youtuber, not me, (@LaB) compares the UFFERN HC4 to the Hawkmoon aand you can clearly see the difference between range, stability and even impact, yes it has more:

This isnt a hit on the UFFern i love the thing, but more like a call to help BUNGIE see how bad the nerfs were and see where they can improve this gun, that even if there are others out there people still want to play with their favorite gun and have good times like the old days. Im outtie

2 RepliesThe reason why they needed the range because they didn't want it to become the only Hand Cannon used and to stop its supposed domination (which was kinda ironic since its notorious green mean murderer the Thorn had the same range but yet they never kept it in check) I think TLW needs some love too just buff the stability and increase its Hip Fire to its highest capability since shots are still broken

Bump so the Xbox guys can use this gun in all its former glory. It used to be so fun and you didn't have to feel like you needed to take a shower after using it like you do with the Thorn.

Yep, I'd also like to see The First Curse given a slight RoF buff. And when I say slight, I mean it. It feels like it's just that bit too slow to be viable when you're up against evenly matched opponents.

1 ReplyHCs need a huge buff in general, excluding the last word, which is finally started to act like it should, still a beast in the right hands but otherwise, it's pretty average! All the things the OP said are true, the stab and hit detection on Hawkmoon are the worst on any exotic I've used including the nerfed Vex! It's without a doubt the gun with the most potential in crucible and frankly, one of the fairest guns in the game, it's a legendary primary that does more damage on two rounds and looks amazing lol There are not tricks to get the bonus to proc, it just helps you out from time to time! Bungi, do it!
