So I'm going to get a Scuf (some of you might remember the post last year saying I would), but I don't know if I should order the Ordinary, Domed or Concave.
Also, I'm going to heavily focus on playing Destiny, so which buttons should I apply to the back? I'm pretty set on Sqaure on the Left and Circle on the Right. Is that a good setup? I appreciate any advice.
Please comment anything to help my descision, go ahead.

3 RepliesI don't get custom controllers. I mean, why spend all that extra money for something that insignificant?

1 ReplyI was gonna say why the hell would you get a scuf when you can get an elite which is WAY better. But then my dumbass realized your on PSN sooooooo my advice to you would be get both! Get as many different stick sizes and shapes you can! It's surprising how different setups ( including sticks) vary depending on which game I play. Be it racing, or FPS, or platformers you get the idea

Edited by whatever: 3/7/2016 4:35:59 PMGet the standard sticks and order yourself some control freeks. You can get a variety of convex and concave (I prefer convex) and varying lengths (I like shorter on left and longer on right). Figure out what u like most. And then, if they do ever wear out, it's just a matter of swapped my out the freeks rather than needing to replace the sticks. The freeks don't cost a whole lot either. As for what buttons. I defaulted to X and O. Destiny would probably be better off with X and Square. The PS4 also allows u to remap the controller buttons via the accessibility settings so u can switch O and Square from the console and which will also affect your paddles. This would also mess with your face buttons though and could take some getting used to.

I have better control with aiming by resting my thumb on the side of the convex thumbstick. So I use the domed for that. I use the concave short thumbstick for the left side for strafing.

i run concave on left mid height and convex on right at a higher height works well

4 RepliesThe correct terminology is "Convex" or "Concave"

1 ReplyEdited by Eel SR7: 3/7/2016 10:18:32 AMBuy an elite. They are way better.
-
3 RepliesDon't you mean convex or concave? Why bother using "concave" when you already dumbed it down in using "domed" (like we don't know what "convex" is)?

Most people remap X and O on the back paddles.
-
I use kontrolfreek vortex Concave on left Convex on right

2 RepliesYou really REALLY don't want a controller with a 90 day warranty.

Get default sticks, then buy kontrolfreeks.

Personally I have a ps4 controller with the Xbox one thumb sticks..

1 ReplySomehow I learned to play with my middle on the triggers while index does xo[]^ and thumb on r3

20 RepliesApply jump to the right paddle and reload to the left. Means you can stay scoped in with a sniper and revive someone with the paddle and be able to shoot correctly. Or learn to play Claw, which I can't do. I loved my scuf.

I use both on my elite controller. Doomed on the left and concave on the right.

Division is garbage.

12 RepliesEdited by YahyaTV: 3/7/2016 9:04:03 AMYou're better off getting an xbox elite controller. If you're on PS4, buy a CronusMAX to provide compatibility. The XBox Elite Controller is far superior in terms of build quality than the Scuf controller and also comes with a warranty. If you do end up buying a Scuf, expect the paddles/rear buttons to break within 3 months, and no warranty.

2 RepliesThe opposite of Concave is Convex. Just to let you know.

4 RepliesI have a scuf and I am a big fan of the concaved ( that's how you spell it?). My thumbs haven't slipped off and it feels comfortable. However if you are a fan of the PS3 controller you might be better of getting domed What stick size? If you go for high you might experience pain in your fingers, if you aren't playing "claw". It personal preference really.

Why concave???
