How can I make being a hunter fun again?
So recently I've just been totally burnt out on my hunter. I've mained a hunter since the beta and it's gotten to the point where it now bores me to tears.
I've been playing on my warlock lately and have been having the time of my life, I practically just look at something and it dies.
I know deep down in my heart I'm still a hunter, but I just need SOMETHING to make it fun again. Everything about it is just...dull. There's no fun subclass setups for hunters either. With warlocks you've got awesome perks like arcweb or feedback, with hunters you get - your knife is now on fire...LAME.
Idk what it'll take but I've tried going back to my hunter a couple times now and the moment I queue into any PVE mission, strike, event, etc I'm instantly bored of the class altogether.

Try playing trapper Its a perk build on night stalker that i personally love to mess around with

I've maimed warlock since vanilla got on my titan the other day and had a blast running around shoulder charging people just fun to mix it up and now then I think

Shadestep? And switch up weapon types and see what feel most synergistic with your class setup. Shadestep unlocks some interesting weapon combos.

use different load outs. like don't use soemthing that would be consider good try out soemthing you've never tried

Yes you have a main, as do I (Titan), but now in year 2 I play every class on a regular base. Titan goes first, thats why he has full Trials gear and I always start Nightfall with my Titan, but the other two classes are very funny, too. You don't have a Titan yet. You know what to do, Guardian.

Well once you get used to the hunter you forget how op it is. It's fun to mess around on the other classes and if you stay off your hunter for a bit, you'll be amazed how easy it is to use them in the crucible. I main a warlock, but if I ever want an easy flawless run, I use my Hunter. Gunslinger makes it a joke lol.

I like the Sealed Grasps on my Bladedancer as well. Shotgun-blink strike! No Land Beyond is best on my Hunter cause I run it with Knucklehead Radar. Hard scoping never been so easy.. Nightstalker or Gunslinger with triple jump and Bones of EAO. Just float around the map lol. Engagements are so much easier when they don't expect you coming from above. Fun in PvE too! Bladedancer, max agility, MIDA, Radiant Dance Machines. Pure Speed. Nightstalker, mayhem playlist, Sealed Grasps, vanish in smoke. You can literally be invisible the entire game. Best with shotguns and swords ;) Gunslinger, Celestial Nighthawk, King's Fall. The raid gets old fast when you run the same loadout and subclass every run. Golden Gun one shots yellow bar Knights (including the Vessel at the Oryx fight). I mean what stage doesn't need a massive DPS drop like CNGG? Fun in strikes too.

I was getting bored of Nightstalker but I changed my playstyle a little bit to make it fun again. Instead of keep scout & shadestep. I started running predator and using quiver to set traps in crucible its really fun to set three traps and hide at a vantage point picking off enemies as they spring a trap. It's a fun time kn the crucible. But yea I do feel some things about the Hunter are lackluster. Cough* circle of life cough*

Blade dancer, don't touch mes, all invisibility perks, backstab, 4th horsemen. Run around in 6v6 being invisible all the time. Enjoy hate mail.

I have now made 4 hunters deleted 3. Didn't have a lot of fun with them in year 1. Nightstalker is a fun class.
