I recently started using sidearms but I haven't found one better than Vestian Dynasty. Are there any that are better?

Havoc Pigeon and The NM one are good straight from vendor, however you should look for stability, reload, and range perks. Tier 1: Hot Swap Range Finder Zen Movement Feeding Frenzy Tier 2: Reactive Reload Crowd control Outlaw Battlerunner Open to edit suggestions! Also look for Rifled Barrel, HC rounds, and other useful stat boosters in the last tree. Edit: you can roll multiple perks in the same tier on the same weapon. I have Hot Swap and Rangefinder on my Havoc Pigeon

If they ever buff it's accuracy, Dregs Promise. Right now I like the Ironwreath the best though.

2 RepliesEdited by Kana, Rogue Kobold: 3/6/2016 9:30:35 PMThe best advice I can offer you it's to keep trying for a havoc pigeon. Although the new monarchy sidearm is technically superior in terms of its high aim assist, this is actually a wasted stat for sidearms. Ideally, you want a side arm with good range and stability. Havoc pigeon is the second best side arm in these two categories. However, like any weapon its usefulness is solely dependent on its roll. Competitively, Zen moment is one of the best perks you can have on a side arm. It might seem like a wasted perk due to side arms very high Base stability, but this perk will actually max the stability out as you're damaging your enemy. This makes landing repeated precision hits super simple. As for the second perk, battle runner or feeding frenzy are both very solid rolls. Havoc pigeon is my solid recommendation if you were pursuing a sidearm, however... If you participate in the iron Banner and are very fortunate, you might be able to acquire the Ironwreath. While it has the lowest aim assistance of all side arms, it does boast the highest range and stability as well as a wide array of useful perks.

They're al equal. Just depends on the roll

Edited by awesome1401: 3/6/2016 9:37:29 PMVendor havoc pigeon is a beast. Have one for both my warlock and Titan. My hunter runs a ironwreath with Rangefinder Hotswap Hi calibre rounds/ reinforced barrel

I'm a fan of havoc pigeon

I have the iron banner vendor side arm it has zen moment and hot swap it's all I use as a secondary in pvp, I also have a jabberhakke with rangefinder and spray and play which is pretty solid. Most people go for rangefinder but I find zen moment to be the better perk and hot swap is underrated.
