I tried a weird barrel. You know that most go "bang" when you shoot them, well this one went "blee".

I got a 98 and I love it. I haven't been able to play in an actual game yet, though. I have shot it quite a bit and it's pretty accurate and plenty reliable. I hope to play in a game really soon, though...

My friend has one with a barrel shroud and a bipod so it looks like some freaky machine gun from WWII.

I have a 98 Custom and I love it, a lot of people like A-5's but I don't like the Cyclone feeding. I've taken a ball right in the bolt and it worked fine.

Today I used a Tippman 98. Yeah. I like it.

Does it really matter? They shoot the same paint, and all you really need to worry about is if it is reliable. And yes, Tippman 98 customs are fine.

i hate wal mart i was looking at getting my first paintball gun and they had a triad at walmart that came with evferything but paintballs for $60 Cnd i go back the next day with my dad(im not 18) and the price tag that says $60 is gone. get up to the counter and it becomes $189.99. then they say that the price tag was a typo and still would not give it to me for $60 is Triad a good gun?

yea u can upgrade like everything on it. if ur playing in the wood in stuff this is the gun for you. they re easy to maintain and almost never break. and for all u f a g s who sat tippmans suck ur rong its 99% skill.and u not sure if u sed u got one but if u got money and r gonna b into it go with a-5(just to brag i got 1 from my friend for 160$ with teardrop barrel, drop forward, on off valve, and double trigger. W00t!) anyway and if u have big dough ur gonna b spending(say over 1000) go get an intimidator. and if u happen to live in VA i really doubt it but i have a 98 im selling...

98 customs are pretty good, and they're very upgradeable.

a sight for 12 bucks? man it has to be crap, i get all my stuff for x mas and all i need is a stock preferably an m4 extendable stock to make it look like and m16/m4. its one sweet ass gun.

i figured some stuff out and can get the stuff for about $250,...i could get a refurbished A-5 (w/warranty) for about $160,...then i found the sight for $12 stock-39 barrel 30, remote line-25 its prett sweet, im still looking for a a-5 at ebay,...hope fully i will have one by the time this weeks over
