Hand Cannon Buff
Hello Bungie,
Love your titles, but don't love what you are doing with Destiny right now.
I would like to speak for all the Hand Cannon users out there; PLEASE FIX HAND CANNONS!!!!
The way you have your bloom setup right now, hand cannons besides the last word are useless as you will die most of the time due to critical head shots turning into phantom bullets.
I'm a year one veteran and miss being confident in pvp with a hand cannon.
Perfect Example: I grind out Trials, get the Waterstar with hidden hand, giving me almost full stability, and it does absolutely nothing. I feel the Nerf actually negates any stability or range perks.
Can you explain why you Nerfed them, and if you plan on giving our hand cannons the buff they deserve?
I understand there will be meta's but that doesn't necessarily mean you should Nerf guns for a meta; not very appealing when you know you just got a hawkmoon drop, might as well put it in the vault because you will do poorly in pvp with it.

3 RepliesYeah, hand cannons used to be my favorites in pve, now there is an artificially weird aim nerf which forces missing shots even in close range, and eventually you run out of ammo. At least they need more reserve ammo.

Tbh, I would rather everything be mediocre and similar than have 100k children bitch about crucible deaths so they can have their favorite weapon archetype get placed on top. Bungie stated they wanted every gun to "have their day", but that is a naive and foolish approach to a fps multi-player. Everyone has different preferences and play styles. For a game that has the potential to offer so much variety, Bungie still caters to those with the "which gun is best" mentality. Reality check: There's no one single "King of Guns". For example: Most people run with shotguns or snipers because they snag you easy kills. Just to prove a buddy wrong, I slapped on Plan C (and Susanoo to show it could be done with a legendary) and demolished in crucible. To combat his "Auto Rifles/Pulse Rifles are top dog" ideology, I slapped on Imago Loop with range perks and came out on top with 2.2 kd. My point is this: "Meta" doesn't exist and is just a stupid philosophy encouraged by YouTube try hards and those with the "I only use the best" way of thinking. TL:DR--> Ignore the bandwagon, it doesn't exist. Your play style is what matters, not what some idiot YouTuber vomits from his ego-adled brain.

What's just just as annoying is the ammo reserve in hand cannons now. In pve hand cannons suck because you run out of ammo constantly before you even find ammo laying around. Hand cannons in general are just in an odd place right now.

1 ReplyBump! TLW and thorn only needed to be adjusted, but they decided to nerf an entire weapon class, which is no surprise at al knowing Bungie. HC's do need a buff. I'm tired of seeing bullets going right through my enemies, but to only do no damage.

I remember running Vanilla IB with the IB Hand Cannon going "Why the -blam!- would I want a SUROS Regime?" while trying to avoid that one Titan on the other team with SUROS. Good times... Now I can't really use a hand cannon or else I get insta-killed by some bullshit pansy ass sniper, or a -blam!-ing Last Word cross mapping me with 3 shots.

They need the ammo and mag size back and need a major accuracy buff. I shouldn't have my sight center mass and the round not make contact, that's ridiculous.

3 RepliesI wish I'm able to touch more than two pistols in the game, don't get me wrong I LOVE MY FIRST CURSE 320 btw, always hated the last word, ether way, but I'd like to run with other pistols, I can't stand only running with just one thing. I always like the beginning of the game because at least I was able to run with anything without having to have something hold me back.
