Can I buy armor materials anywhere?

The gunsmith in the tower sells armor materials as well as weapon materials!

I know this is old but I found it on Google; I haven't seen yet any vendor that sells armor materials, but I'll equip rares and use motes of light to get extra armor materials (when the rares have max experience), and if you equip as many as you can at the same time, you can make back your motes of light or actually generate them.

3 RepliesHello dunners76. There are no vendors that sell armor materials. However, if you get armor from rare or legendary engrams or Vanguard or Crucible rewards, you can deconstruct those items for armor materials.
