how should the spartans, Marines, and covenat look? [-Upadated 12/13-]

in halo 2 you armor was kinda a dull-shine with chipped paint. its pretty good but i still feel if Halo CE had updated graphics Halo CE Spartans would look way better.

Halo 2 introduced use to the lame, present day looking marines. they no longer had Holographic eye pieces, and wore olive green armor that make them look like Spartans. they had tons of pouches and other things that made them look like a current day marine. laaaaaame.

and halo three made the same mistake. they just added a gold visor that some where which made marines look even MORE like Spartans. s much for Spartans looking one-of-a-kind...

Elites. ahh yes...how the might has fallen over the series. Halo CE elites where perfect. they stood tall, did not hunch, said wort wort wort, and kicked ass.

then in halo 2, because (*spoilers*) they elites team up with the humans bungie though it would be okay to put them in multilayer. because of this they had to turn elites into semi-hunched over dinos. AND THEY DON'T SAY WORT WORT WORT! sad face...

Not to much to say about brutes. in Halo 2 they were big fury apes that looked like chewbaka. (did i spell that right? lol)

the spartan link there is definatley how a spartan should look! is it master chief though? it looks like the mark V armour that chief wore in CE

here's what i think spartans = [url=http://www.bungie.net/projects/reach/article.aspx?ucc=intel&cid=24024]link[/url] ODST's = Halo 3: ODST Elites - keep them noble, like they were in halo 1/2 Marines - this is where my opinion gets complicated. With ODST's so detailed, i think the marines should be too. I propose a blend of sorts between Halo CE and Halo 2, with some of the Combat Apperal from Halo 2, but with a lot of the presentation of Halo CE. Basically I want the ammo puches and rucksacks so they can actually carry their equipment, but with actual body armor and the actually futuristic equipment these pouches would be carrying. That's my 2 cents

the Halo 3 Master Chief seems to have lost some muscular mass... so the Halo 2 Master Chief owns him, the Halo 2 Elites are beautiful I love them. The ODSTs from Halo 2 are the best because the look bigger and their armour is beautiful. So Halo CE, Halo 2 WIN Halo 3... shame!

Elites should be like in CE but they sld still have them have many different ranks and classes Sartans should look like in Halo 3 but their armor should not look like plastic Brutessould look like in halo 3 but they should add more armor and make the chieftans lesspattic

i reckon everything you said is based on nostalgia, take a look at the photos, the only instance in which you [i]might[/i] be right, is the elites, since they looked a bit better standing up...

The Halo CE marines looked more like marines you would see in the future. and they looked badass.

I think the H1 Marines where the best by far, they actually looked like they where from 2552! I think that the H2 SPARTANS where the best spartans, they looked battle worn and profficiant. I also think that the H3 ODSTs looke more sleek and special ops looking, and i hate how H3: ODSTs had customized armour ~ they looked un-proffesional. I agree with you completely on the Elites. Exept for halo 1s bad graphics, and i cannot help but think about how halo 3 changed those "elite" warriors into the slowched up, fat, constantly hungry, wierd helmet wering swat whores! I hate how the brutes look completelly, i feel they ruin the feel of the covenant's futuristic look. i mean how long does it take for monkeys to evolve?

Halo CE elites were not menacing. There were comedic to look at. Halo Wars elites are monsters that look like they want to hurt you.

The H1 Elites looked the most badass out of the lot. They looked tough, lean and menacing. The H3 Elites look clumsy footed and fat, like they ate too many cakes. Maybe in between Halo 1 and Halo 3 the Elites discovered a magical planet made out of cake and thats why they've put on so much weight. Halo Wars Elites are the worst out of the lot, like a normal Elite standing in front of one of those distorting mirrors you get at carnivals.

The Halo Wars announcement trailer elites were awsome, but they looked a bit too heavy/bulky. but that's just my opinion.
