Has there not been tht forever already? I swear I disabled tht function a year ago lol
-
Im sure i turned that off a long time ago too
-
No. For whatever reason they do not have this feature on PS4. Actually really annoying. Peoples reasoning for it is "You can have so many friends now so it would be annoying if it told you when everyone logged on" (shitty reason IMO)
-
Hopefully they do Like they have on Xbox and you can choose which friends you are notified for.
-
I dont show me. Go to your notifications. Think you can also turn on/off when they join a party or get an achievement.
-
Yea you can turn that off but it doesn't tell you when they log on at all. For some reason they didn't add it to PS4, but it is on PS3 (and every other online console IIRC)
-
Well guess another thing to turn off
-
Edited by SeneschalGrigori: 3/1/2016 6:54:56 PMIndeed. But I'd rather turn it off if it got irritating than have to use "X has joined a party" as my notification that a friend even logged on.
-
I could have sworn they did... Maybe its the "joined a party chat" I disabled. I know I disabled an annoying feature a while back haha
-
That's probably what you disabled. It does tell you when friends join a party, which can be annoying when a friend seems to be party hopping and joins & leaves about 5 of them in a 3 min period.
-
I don't have friends on PSN so I wouldn't know. I said lol because even the 360 had this feature.
-
Ya they Definitely seem to be behind the times atm...
-
At least Sony isn't Nintendo. Nintendo is a disgrace to online gaming. I just wish I could use my XB1 controller for PS4, or buy a controller I actually enjoy using. Then, I would play it more.
-
Yeah Nintendo has been coasting for years. Although they has been a successful company producing profits... Just seems they dont want to actually compete as a top console anymore.
-
I hope they make a real console with the NX lol. No motion, no tablets. Hell, they can be cheap bastards and use GameCube controllers for the thing. And a real online network with GT/PSN/whatever, not friend codes lmao. Also, game/party chat. Probably a bunch of other stuff missing too...
-
Yeah totally agree, they have a huge opportunity to upset the console market with the NX... No tablet, motion or funky controllers and they'd make a killing. Just doesnt seem tht they're interested in doing it though.
-
They could literally disable online functions and only have LAN support for all I care. I love Mario Kart, Mario Party, Splatoon, Bayonetta, and a lot of other titles. However, I'm not playing with a tablet or nunchuks lol. Good luck, Nintendo whatever the hell it is that you're doing!

Buy a Cronus Max/Titan One/XIM 4 and you can use your XB1 controller for PS4/
-
I looked up Chronus but I think it did wired only. Do any of those devices support using the XB1 controller wirelessly?
-
Unfortunately not. It needs to be wired because it is being used to translate the controllers signal into whatever console you are trying to make it talk to.
-
Hmm okay. Good thing the elite came with like a 10 or 12 ft usb cable. Do all 3 of those devices require a PS4 controller to be plugged in as well? Or just the one I want to use?
-
As far as I know you don't need the other consoles controller for it. However I don't use my XIM4 for that. I can try it when I get home but that won't be for a few hrs and after I get back home from taking the Miss's out.
-
When I last looked up CronusMax Plus, I'm pretty sure it said you needed one. But, I don't play PS4 much atm, so if you got back to me on that at any time I would appreciate it. Thanks!
