Look, I'm gonna be honest with you. You don't want unnecessary attention but yet you make a thread where I'm sure you perfectly know will give you even more attention. If you don't like what people say or think about you, ignore and mute. Making a thread like this is only gonna give the people that dislike you even more reasons to dislike you. This is bnet, a place filled with people you will probably never meet or talk to anymore in a couple of months/years so why explain yourself? When people go trash talking about you in school, you gonna stand on a chair in the cafeteria as well and explain yourself, drawing more "unwanted" attention to yourself? I don't think so, you're gonna suck it up and ignore them so why can't you do the same thing here? Who cares who people think you are? For as long I've been here, a lot of people have been accused of being someone's alt and I've never seen one of them make a thread saying that they're not. They just suck it up, what does it matter anyway? And yes, we're all aware that nice people do exist. In fact, despite what people think and say, this place is filled with nice people and they're not getting the recognition and praise they deserve for that, simply because they don't go around saying: "I'm a nice person" because most of them don't care if people here think they're nice or not. Your gender does not matter. And again, everyone is aware that females have equal access to the internet. You say you don't care if people believe you or not and yet you felt the need to point the fact that you're female out. I've said it before and I will say again: what does it matter? A lot of females here have been accused of being male. We're all strangers on the net so what does it matter if people think you're a guy living in his mothers basement? Now, you say that you would appreciate it if your friends would stop making threads about you because it will create more drama and what not but now you're exactly doing what they're doing. Creating more drama, getting yourself more - like you say - unwanted attention and giving some people probably more reasons to dislike you. Its simple, if you don't like the attention as you say, don't make threads like this, stop commenting on threads that people make about you (because you clearly said you don't like it, yet you go around on them commenting on almost every person that replied on it) and start using that mute button. Using that button won't make you any less nicer. Sorry.
