It's try hard or go home.
It's use OP weapons or nades or go home.
Not to mention one day you're a pro, the next you can't kill a single -blam!-ing person.
One day all you're headshots from your sniper count.. the next day you apparently can't hit anything but everyone shooting at you is MLG pro.
Even the worst player on the other team.. the guy that goes 3-14.. his only 3 kills are a 360 no scope to your dome while you're in your super.
Mida makes my sniper scope bounce like an earthquake.. yet other people can take my mida to their face and snipe me like I never posed a threat shooting at them.
I don't do anything differnt.. sometimes my super kills people, sometimes it don't.. how do people maintain 2:1 KDS OR better in this game and manage to avoid all the bullshit?.
I watch streamers every now and then, they don't do anything special.. their aim isn't any better than mine.. I've hit incredible shots like them too.. I miss every now and then just as they do.. I'm not perfect, but everyone that shoots at me is?
It's so -blam!-ing dumb, you'll start a trials match up 3 or 4 rounds to 0.. then all of a sudden some dude turns into sniper Jesus and never misses another shot..
What am I most annoyed at?
My KD is trash I admit it. Why is it trash?
Because it's never just above average like it suggests.. I don't finish games 14-10 or 7-5.. for the most part it's the opposite in either direction..
I'm either putting up 30 kills with a 5:1 KD or I'm putting up 6 kills with a .2 KD..
There's no in between. I'm too competitive to be ok my shitty KD but nothing I do seems to work.. Apparently one day I'm MLG pro and the next it's almost as if I don't have thumbs..
Anyone else have the same stupid problem?

1 ReplyEdited by knackers1978: 5/10/2017 3:09:53 AMBecause it's designed by elitist dick heads.. the whole system is bullshit. I mean seriously who in their right mind who isn't an elitist jerk cocksucker thinks pitting 310 light against 400 light is anything remotely close to balanced, fair, or even enjoyable? It's like putting a -blam!-ing 3 year old kid against a special forces veteran in the octagon!! The gayest, most pathetic, badly balanced bullshit pvp system I've ever had the misery of enduring. I'm no pro, granted. But these arse holes need to get their shit together and completely redesign their pvp matching system. If your 310, youre against 300-320 not -blam!-ing 390+. End of story. No ifs. No buts. No bullshit. Just accept that these gaping gay butt holes clearly don't understand the meaning of balance or fair play/contest.

1.4 kd is trash? Awesome :(

I go into the daily salvage yesterday to get the marks and try out this new mediocre auto rifle I got for fun. All 3 of the enemy team start the game with thorns. Of course they are all in a fireteam playing campy as fck. Like seriously? I go like 0-10 to start the game n get salty. So I put on my thorn n go super sweaty pits n end up winning the game. Then I turned on Netflix. Crucible has become the most scummy unfun thing to do. Like... who can out fgt the other team. It's not even fun anymore when EVERY game is... You vs lag vs bullet registration vs campy MLG wannabes. I'm sooooooo burnt out on this game.

Yes, exactly this since the week the TTK pvp maps were released. Before i played with necrochasm / dreg's promise / whatever and got an average 17 kills per game over all (i never deleted any of my chars, in fact i averaged about 20/game that time). The they introduce TTK and it's like you described. Snipers camping everywhere, you flank them, shoot them with high caliber round and what happens? You get domed. On the next day you get 2 phantoms in trials and -blam!- up an unbroken (14-0). After that you go into 6v6 and get 44 kills with your fcking jade rabbit while doing a quest for scout rifle kills. And the next day you get a 0.4 k/d and can't kill anyone. Then somehow your sniper headshots through walls or gets insane doublekills with 1 bullet without explosions. All the while everyone has a green bar. Yes. Of course.

It's fun to me

Edited by Gregusfeckus: 3/3/2016 6:32:26 PMYes. It's lag and poor hit registration. Bungie broke Crucible with patch 2.1 and appear incapable of fixing it. As developers go they're proving themselves extremely incompetent. Personally I suspect their servers are a large part of the problem. Nothing else would explain the constant connection issues.

The question is...
where did sniper Jesus train?
This post is so relatable. Lol. Especially the part of my super not working, and how my MIDA seems to not affect the other sniper's ability to aim. Used a blade dancer lately? I think my KDR is higher without my super popped... I've also gone up 3-0 in Trials, only to have the other team activate God Mode. I still love this game, but this post was bang on. I think it just bothers me less than others.

weapons in crucible don't really matter. Sure an autorifle vs a slow as hand cannon is going to win every time. If you start getting killed switch weapons. Simple. Might I add it also takes time to learn just 1 weapon and play crucible matches. So many time I hear shotgun OP, fusion rifle OP, autorifle, grenades OP. Learn other peoples play styles quickly and dominate them. Oh and don't get intimidated by people. Use whatever the F@$K weapon makes you happy. Shotty, sniper, rocket launcher etc. it's a game man. Life is harder.

I share your PvP experience too :'(
-
1 ReplyI thought the same way until this guy showed up in rumble with all white weapons. I was thinking I was gona blast this kid but I was dead wrong he dominated the match and proved once and for all its not the weapons it's the player. If you got it you got it.

Oh don't get first blood enemy team goes up by 500 points to your teams 100 or 0 bet half your team quits in the first 40 secs sad...

4 RepliesDon't get me wrong, Destiny can be competitive, but it will never be Halo. I just don't understand why they feel like every playlist needs to be MLG-tryhard when they have things like sword quests that require 25 sword kills in Crucible. Trials was a perfect outlet for competitive play. Everyone put on their best gear, we can calculate when supers will start to pop up, heavy only comes around for one round, and there's a lot of teamwork involved since we have to assemble our own groups. I can even tolerate it to a degree in Iron Banner, but even then, 6v6 playlists can't really be competitive enough to warrant SBMM. Supers start to become random, one guy will hold onto his heavy ammo all game which is always an LMG, everywhere you go, there's one or two sniper glints staring back at you. It's a clusterfvck. But to make every single playlist MLG-tryhard? Where do I go to get used to this new weapon that just dropped? Where do I go to experiment with a new playing style? Where do I go to complete these monotonous quests like getting 25 kills with the sword and getting infinity points while using TLW? It's gotten to the point that my buddy and I have to take into serious consideration whether or not we want to play together because his matchmaking is a lot easier than mine, and he doesn't want to go negative every game. That's the reality right now. I'm not making that up, I've literally had someone tell me that they wanted to play by themselves because they're tired of going up against my skill group. How is that okay?

3 RepliesIts the connections I was great all day yesterday, 730 pm rolled around, I was green bar and everyone in the game was too, everyone was skippin around, punching people didnt do shit, sniper bullets seemed to disappear in faces, shotguns took 2 shots from point blank, people were dying while I wasnt even near them, couldnt pick up ammo Error code beaver, error code rabbit How is it I use an ethernet cable and get kicked out of more games and get more error codes? This game is consistently inconsistent, the only thing consistent about it is that you can bet its gonna get worst with the next update

I had the most fun in pvp yesterday night in a while. Why? Because I had a full team of friends to play with! My advice, get a full fire team and enjoy the game together, sure we had some losses, but at least I had people to talk to instead of yelling at my screen to bs.
-
i mean like i have multiple builds and preform very well on my warlock and most of the time you'll see me voidwalking. i haven't really had a problem with a little sweaty action because then i'll just pull out thorn and the queen shotgun. also i usually have a scout, pulse, or hc (never really been a guy of auto rifles). hell in trials/ elimination i use swords as a heavy. honestly if people keep calm and don't get over worked over dying and just chillax you'll have a blast no matter the situation.
-
I don't know I just grab gun and kill somebody. Didn't know it was complicated.
-
Serious question; does your internet speed vary at all? Are there other people using the same connection? ----Hard Light 4 Life------------------------
-
I have exactly the same issue
-
Because all they do is Nerf things.
-
I'm frankly just over Destiny woth the SBMM system. Bungie needs to get their stupid heads out of their -blam!-ing asses and just change it back to HoW. Drop rates and CBMM with a secondary priority of skill. That was excellent, and they -blam!-ed it all up.
-
It's a social experiment. How long can people play this game before going insane.
-
1 ReplySeriously guys has NO ONR ELSE find it god dam laggy in pvp from the last few days specially ? Red bars.. Teleports god what FK have u done now to this game . God FK ur stream can't u fix one thing bungie. Why can't u put the pvp back to what is was before .

It's Hidden Hand 1k stares that ruined it for me

I may not have the same amount of experience as you, but I've definitely shared similar experiences. Sometimes your on, sometimes your not. It's true that real life is like that too (take any pro sport athlete for example), but it seems like Destiny amplifies it. I realized that I spend too much time playing destiny when I read your post in my own voice mentally. The humble approach is the safest here and in all areas of life. Rub some dirt on it and get back to the grind if it's what you really want to do.
