Greetings,
1- What does Oryx take from his sword and put in his chest at the end of the Regicide mission?
2 Why is it blue on the outside and black on the inside? It is bright blue until plenty damage is done to it in the King's Fall Raid then it has a black spot. Why is that?
3 - Why is Oryx bigger in the King's Fall raid? Why was he not that size in the Regicide mission?
Thanks

He took the ultimate nut sack, stuck it in his vagina hole and that's why you're only killing his babies in the raid.

Oryx is on his throne realm. Which means he can be whatever he wants. This also means that this is the only place we can kill him in.

i think the mist is his son soul to make him more powerful, but thats what i think

weird mist For contrast Because it's cooler that way.

8 RepliesThe thing he puts into his chest in the story is not what is in the raid. In the raid, the thing you are shooting is his worm. The thing he put into his chest was feeding his worm

He's bigger because that is his form in his throne world* *Hive gods create throne world for themselves so that when they die in this one, they can easily be resurrected.

Could be a chimichanga.
2 Why is it blue on the outside and black on the inside? It is bright blue until plenty damage is done to it in the King's Fall Raid then it has a black spot. Why is that?
I think it's supposed to look like the Taken. Oryx is sending himself into the Taken dimension until he is reincarnated.
3 - Why is Oryx bigger in the King's Fall raid? Why was he not that size in the Regicide mission?
King's Fall takes place in Oryx's throne world / the Taken dimension. He's fun-sized in the real dimension and super sized in the Taken dimension. I'm not sure there is an in-game or grimoire explanation for his gargantuan sized, so the assumption is that it's his world so he can be as big as he wants to be. (Anyone who's been through the hall of thrusting phallus shaped pistons knows that Oryx's has deep psychological issues.)

This is the power of the taken, as we see it takes oryx. 2 Why is it blue on the outside and black on the inside? It is bright blue until plenty damage is done to it in the King's Fall Raid then it has a black spot. Why is that? ^it's the power of the taken. In its true form possibly 3 - Why is Oryx bigger in the King's Fall raid? Why was he not that size in the Regicide mission? Becuause we are in BJ's throne room. There he can be any size he wants. (That's what she said.) Thanks

Basically the hive lords can have their own type of realm where they can bend and change certain things. I think. He made himself gigantic, and at the end of the regicide mission he took himself to his own realm.
-
Bungie had to cut all that out when forced to redo the whole story. It happened because it didn't matter if they kept it or not.
-
Not sure if 3 has been answered yet, but Oryx linked his hive realm to the dreadnaught, and thus became a mirror of it. His size was because that was his hive form, and was not limited by our plane of existence.
-
1 Reply1. I believe that this is one of two possibilities. a) it is the Light that the sword has harvested during it's existence - we hear of Hive Knights tithing their blades to Oryx. So he takes a last snack with him to power his jump through to the Ascendant realm b)it is Oryx's IRL version of an oversoul which he uses to escape death. 2. In the Ascendant Realm Oryx makes the rules. We are there in HIS Throne world, which he turned inside out in order to create his Dreadnought. He is capable of feats in this realm which would take too much energy in the real to be worth it.

5 RepliesHe is bigger in the raid because that's his dimension. His the on world. He made it so basically the dreadnaught is his own dimension, or a part of it. In his dimension he has his own logic and basically does what he wants.
