It's actually decently balanced right now. Snipers are in. But shotguns are ok if you're twitchy. Lots of MGs, but rockets a great counter. Esp look for the raid MG, it's an old The Swarm archetype if you haven't raided yet. Hand cannons are down, but The Last Word people still use to couple with grenades or snipers. Thorn seeing some play again. Pulses are just ok. Fast firing ones probably the best, but mid impact ones I think can still be competitive with good perks. Slow firing ones not great right now. For autos, super low impact ones are shredding in short range, assuming counter balance and good perks. Monte Carlo very good right now. Overall, autos are ok. Scouts are definitely what's in though. Especially Mida. People are using all the archetypes too, fast firing, mid firing VoC types, and the slow firing ones. Really, the only things that are out right now are: Slow firing pulse rifles Fusion rifles Most non-exotic hand cannons
