I got picked on for bringing a fusion rifle to the Iron Banner
So I play as a Hunter light level 305-308 and I'm an average PvP player. I've played on the neighborhood of a hundred matches this IB and of those I've played with and against 2 other FR's. I do okay with my Long Far Gone mostly because I'm not an eliete player but I seriously got insulted by about 10 teams for using a FR. Can I get a shout out from the rest of the FR users so I feel less alone in this?

Use thesan as a primary and they won't be laughing anymore. Look at it on my Hunter.

Hell, I was wasted a few times by Long Far Gone and a couple FR4 Hitchhikers. And a couple Jerk offs using the bloody test fusion from the gunsmith.

4 RepliesOh my god can I get those people on the opposing team when I play? That's some of the worst map awareness I've ever seen. Nice catch! And you should check out the Gunsmith's Thesan FR4, you can get a stability perk and cap it out. Pretty nasty stuff. It's hard for people to talk shit about me using a FR when I go like 16/3 but regardless Fusion Rifles are still pretty good imho. Go vaporize some more people, Guardian. c;

Fusion Rifles take getting use to but they can be as effective as a shotgun. I love using Telesto as my go to FR.

Tell them to shut their mouths. It may be harder, but you can definitely compete and win with a fusion no question.

Ashravens flight is a solid gun! And dont forget about Plan C, the charge from the hip and aim down sights hip fire bonus accuracy still works great with it! Got a first blood on exodus blue from outside the tunnel going to inside heavy. The guy was standing against the back wall with full health. Even though it was total RNG to smoke someone with full health from that far i still laughed my ass off.

Don't use FRs but maaan do I remember Vanilla had bounties that required Master Blaster medals. Those were always fun to get.

Cant believe people said something 2 u....i always run a fusion, warlock uses susanoo and my hunter/titan use my Thesan FR4...and during regular crucible they all use my "That Beautiful Glow" the 2nd fastest charging fusion around

3 RepliesI used Telesto a bunch this iron banner. When the other team got bunched up I'd Fire it in the group. Double and triple kills from a fusion rifle is hilarious. They're still a good option in the crucible.

I've recently become a fan of FR's... I always try to be "anti-meta" with specials. Such as sniping before it was what was popular, and now FR's and side-arms that sniping is everywhere.

I did great this weekend running my thesan. I would just use what you like and are good with.

Ran Thesan or Plan C almost every game of IB (shotty on certain maps). I did just fine.

People make fun of me for using a fusion rifle, until I use the omolon test rifle and get 2ND on our team in clash with a K/d>1. Then I have to ask, if fusion rifles are so bad, why then are there 4 people with worse scores than me? Hmm....
