I did a mix of things my titan is 307 when maxed (with out the Crimson ghost)
To get over 300 I did srl, iron banner and nightfalls. Never got any drops from raids, though I did try.
Also if your lucky a year 2 exotic engram could decrypt at 310 if you get 301 and above. That's how I got some of my gear up. Doing the three of coins helps to increase drops for exotics all be it abit slower then usual. Just grind and hope for the best.

This is exactly how I did it. Srl was a godsend so hopefully it'll come back again someday. I haven't been having the greatest luck in this most recent iron banner but I just reached level four last night. Hopefully that'll drop some higher level items.

I agree about srl, got all my helmets over 305 because of it. I so want it back as wasn't blessed with the class items. I am not yet rank 4 on iron banner. Not really had a chance to play much. I hope it rewards better and you get what you need. The rewards for me so far haven't been of any use though. Here's hoping the level package gives something good.
