It's been said countless times by many players but I think it needs to be addressed going forward . Should raid weapons be the most dominant PVE guns ? Should they be mediocre like they are now ? I believe they should be top notch for the effort you put into getting them . VOG & CE had amazing guns that were highly sought after and yes maybe some of those guns were broken *cough ( Original Pre Nerf Black Hammer ) but overall the raid weapons in year 1 didn't have much use in pvp . The VoG Pulse rifle , Auto rifle , shotgun and the machine gun did see some usage in crucible .. Of course the Vex Mythoclast too .. As for Crotas end guns I don't remember seeing any of those guns in pvp . And we all know Bungie makes majority of weapon Nerfs based on pvp . I think that moving into future content raid weapons should be the ultimate prize to strive to obtain not just oh let me just infuse this into whatever gun you wanna level up . I remember getting my croax of Crota to drop after grinding for weeks and if was a shitty weapon .. But when I got my first Vex I was so hype ! Games that are based on RNG and a loot system can be a pain but at lest it can be satisfying when the RNG gods bless you ..
