Is it Possible to Farm Exotic without Three of Coins?
is it true that Exotic Enegramm Drop only with Three of Coins?
i am looking for a Stratigie to farm Exotic Enegramm without Three of Coins (I dont Mean Exo Chest from the Raids)

Ich suche nach eine Möglichkeit zu Farmen ohne Drei der Münzen.

1 ReplyIch habe neulich aus dem Legendären Enagram den Alpha Lumpi gezogen.Das etste mal seit ich Destiny Spiele,Seit Dezember. Ich finde es auch frustrierend vorallem ist es bei mir so das ich nir Rüstungsteile bekomme und keine Waffe. Das was ich Freigeschaltet habe sind Waffen wo ich im Pvp gross nichts anfangen kann.Einmal kam was und bekam kein Land Ausserhalb an Waffe.Das wars, Boshafte habe ich gemacht,Exo Schwert auch.Monte carlo bekam ich ich einfach so , Die Suros habe ich aus dem Dämmerungsstrike bekommen.Mehr habe ich nicht an Primär Waffen.Mida Jadehase und co alles Fail. Werde ich wohl nie bekommen. Bei den Schwrren Waffe habe ich ca die Hälfte, Wahrheit , Das Mg, ect.... Heute wieder 10 Münzen verballert und ein Rüstungsteil bekommen.Jedr Woche immer der Selbe Mist, und meist ist es dann auch was wo ich schon habe, und ein weiteres Mal bekomme.

Absolutely I had two legendary engrams decript into exotic items both dropped during crucible play last week I believe I was playing inferno clash

I would guess that they can drop without 3oC but it would be an extremely low percentage. The only reason I think they do is because myself and a friend have both had a double exotic drop from a strike boss. Out of all the people I play with only the two of us have had this happen once each. My only explanation is that the extra exotic was from a normal loot table roll.

1 ReplyI got thunderlord from shaxx bounty once. Back in year 1 they dropped randomly from strikes and crucible but I don't know if it's possible without 3oC anymore?

I have never had an exotic engram drop without 3oC. I've been playing nearly every day since destiny came out.

2 RepliesHaven't seen any drop without it and i farm Ultras alot. That said the description on 3oC is incorrect. Bungie should address this. Didnt they also say we could find exotics in chests now in random ones on every planet? Anyone ever get one that way?

Do the raids-all of them. You can get exotics from VOG chest, Atheon, Crota, Deathsinger from Crota raid, Kings Fall chest, and any KF boss. The old exotics will drop in VOG and Crota but the blueprint for the new version will be unlocked. Raids are your best bet.

4 RepliesI dropped two from warpriest, on separate runs this week. I had no three of coins as I ran out last week. They weren't engrams but dropped as named exotics. Think this is a recent change

3 RepliesI do not think so but I could be wrong. I believe 3oc is still your best method to get exotic engrams if not you're only method.

It IS possible to get exotic engrams without ToC, but very unlikely. It would be a huge waste of time to farm without them active, you would get an exotic drop 1/150 ultra kills (not exact, just an estimation)

If I'm not wrong: You can get exotics as: - rewards from nf - rewards from strikes (I've a better chance at getting a k/d of 5 in a crucible game than it dropping)) - rewards from crucible games (happens as often as men walking on the moon) - raid rewards from some chests (not all) and some boss fights. - from legendary engrams (happens... sometimes) Those appear as named exotics, not engrams. Exotic engrams can be obtained only two ways as far as I know: - Xur - 3 Of coins. (- I don't think you can get them from faction packages, but I don't know.)

Edited by Tron Code: 2/26/2016 12:25:43 PMYou can still get year one exotics from the prison of elders... Definitely rare, but it still happens... Occasionally I'll farm strange coins by doing the prison of elders, and in doing so, I've had several exotics drops... No year two exotics.

I haven't gotten an exotic outside of nightfall without using 3oc. Year one we used to grind strikes for rare exotic drops now we grind everything else for coins so we can buy 3oc which drop exotics at the same rare rate . The humanity of it all.
