Seriously? Crying over every gun. Yet I bet when you're using it it's perfectly fine, but when it gets used against you that's when it's a problem.
Or is it that you're not good enough to get it so you cry for nerfs? Which is it?
Can we go a full month without someone crying to get a gun nerfed?
The Doc is awesome, but it isn't OP in any way. There are plenty of guns that can beat it. This place is just filled with folks who cry for nerfs.
Nerf criers need to be nerfed.
Because now Bungie will nerf it, and well...we've seen how they do their nerfs.

What'd you expect? People don't realize that they are just BAD at this game. Doctrine was BEAST MODE back in the pulse rifle era as well, dont know they crying about now.
-
The Doctrine really isn't anything special, it's just that it's archetype exceeds in close quarters combat. I could whip out the Atheons Epilogue or Arminus and get similar results. Doctrines only more popular because it usually drops at a higher value than other autos
-
People always cry about stuff. Welcome to online games. I just hope they dont nerf it.
-
2 RepliesSure let's keep using Doctrine/mida/TLW for the remainder of destinys lifetime. Welcome to video games moron, every game like this constantly nerfs and buffs different guns. Maybe if you didn't rely on a cheap gun to play well you wouldn't be nervous or intimidated by people calling for a nerf on a gun that is clearly #1 in its weapon class. Don't worry, whenever the next weapon balance patch drops im sure you'll have some new scrubgun to take doctrines place so you can still compete. *Drops mic*

I use it but it's -blam!-ing insane, love this gun
-
4 RepliesLe problemo is-o that theres only-o one gun-o that works in close range. Diversity is almost non existent Close range it's Tlw, doctrine and an arminius (never been killed by one, although I have one) Mid range Tlw, doctrine, mida and that's what you'll mostly see Long range Mida, and snipers, and jade rabbit for the ps players.
-
Nerf this, Nerf that, everybody gets the nerf!
-
3 RepliesThey haven't Nerfed the Mida. Yet.

6 RepliesEdited by Aulakauss: 2/25/2016 10:48:54 PMI mean, sure it's a bit OP compared to a lot of the rest of the AR pool, but there's a few ARs that can compete. I've won a few and tied a lot of fights with Doctrine using Hard Light. I'm willing to bet Red Spectre and Paleocontact can take it, too. Just take note of who's using it and make an effort to engage from longer range if possible. I don't think that thing has the best stability, does it? Considering what you have to do to get one of them, I'm not too fussed.

I got mind last ToO and before I would disagree agree with you but now that I have one and had time to use it. I figured out that the gun is not overpowered but other weapons just get out gun by it because of the useless nerfs. For example the exotic auto rifle that has arc damage has much more impact then the DOP but can get destroyed by one and that is because most weapons in destiny are weak.

1 Reply"Hey guys, weve made this great gun that is gonna absolutely wreck in PvP, cant wait to share it with the community", "no wait, lets give it only to the better PvP players because we dont want EVERYBODY to have fun in crucible, that would be silly"
-
2 RepliesListen dip shit. Its overpowered compared to all of the other shit guns. Dont call people nerfers when its very clearly unbalanced or it wouldnt be a thing. If you want the crucible to stay crappy then stay silent kiddo
-
haha I love taking people out with it, I straight up got a 11.0 kd last night using doctrine and no back up plans and invective. It was a blast.
-
The real enemy is RNG.
-
1 ReplyWait 1 week, those same people will whine about Arminus-D now that the gunsmith is selling it
-
It's not OP per se. It's OP within its class.
-
You have to realize this. As long as they keep nerfing certain archetypes, another gun will come and take its place. Just like no one could handle shotguns in their prime. What did they do? Nerfed them into oblivion. Now what is going on? Gameplay is stale and everyone is complaining about snipers. Same thing goes with primaries. But I will say this. You'll notice that the people who call for these nerfs have a bad k/d or just haven't played the game long. They are usually not good FPS players. Unfortunately, they're the vocal minority.
-
It is REALLY good. TTK is crazy fast, but I just think other archetypes should be brought up to compete. I should've gotten it this weekend in Trials...but alas...ALSO, I think to even GET the gun, you have to be a good player...SO, good players use it...good players kill more people...making it seem OP...just my thought.
-
Ppl are always gonna cry about nerfs because there will always be a gun that is so strong when they need something. Try not to worry yourself about it. It's an inevitability , like the sun rising or firebolts in the crucible , it will always happen.
-
1 ReplyWhy are you surprised? It's long been the M.O of this pvp community to complain a cry for anything that kills them to be nerfed.
-
Nerf it!!!!!! NERF THE WHOLE GAME TILL IT SUCK!!!!!! No seriously fùck Doctor of passion BUFF HAWKMOON!!!!! Just add 10 to the range stat and stop this gun registering blank rounds
-
2 RepliesNot complaining about the doctrine but will pass on my experience from yesterday. In iron banner I was 316/317 hunter or 318/319 warlock and used Zalo Supercell or hard light Opponents used doctrine Very often in a 1 v 1 gun fight he would go to 1/2 or 1/3 health and I would die. Just giving this information for those that suggest the Zalo or Hardlight etc compete as they are incorrect based on my experience. Looks like I have to try and find 2 guardians to carry me in trials. lol.
-
4 RepliesSome people complain because some of them can't get the gun.... lol Not really OP...I do like it for it's utility, you can take out 3 guardians with a single clip. TLW can take out 2 max, bodyshot/headshot, rarely. People can joke about the 0.04% all they want but... Can you imagine if Bungie's original 2.1 weapons revisions really did buff the autorifles/DoP archetype by 4% instead of 0.04%? 17dmg/hs / 15dmg/body. Time to kill would be reduced by ~15%. They'd be crying louder than sticking a sewing needle in their pee hole.
-
It reminds me of when I was melting faces with atheons epilogue before the great auto rifle crash of year 1. The doctrine is fine as is.
-
1 ReplyIt's a little op dude. It'll melt your health really damn quick. And don't tell me "it's only good if you know how to use it" because it's very easy to use. I've played trials and have teams of three use it and it's very hard to counter.

Doctrine is a noobs paradise
