My town just had a pitchfork style meeting about LGBT issues
There was yelling and booing at anyone who spoke for LGBT(about 5 people) and cheers and hallelujahs for the people who spoke against LGBT rights.(about 90 people)
The proposed laws would have made it illegal to discriminate in schools against LGBT.
Sigh..... I'm not even from the Deep South...

I don't care if you sexually identify as an Apache Attack Helicopter or whatever the hell you believe you are. If you have the naturally evolved sex parts to determine which gender is which then you're that gender.

Integrated bathrooms are not a right, they are privileges that, while they should be built SEPARATE to other bathrooms, should not trump the comfort of the majority. These are not rights. Your community didn't want to be discriminated against for being heterosexual and identifying as their sex. The wants of the majority trump those of the minority up until those majority wants begin to hurt people. Think the First Amendment's limit. You can't force people to fall to your ideology, your faith, your beliefs or your outlook.
