Cozmo, you seriously need to read this. Serious, still unaddressed PvP bug. (Thanks for responding Cozmo, hope this is something that can be fixed soon) Cozmo just followed up with me regarding the type of controller I purchased.
There is a serious, game breaking bug in PvP right now. I've posted this several times in the help section and I've yet to get a response.
The bug in question is that weapons will randomly stop firing and or kicking you out of ADS when you pull the trigger. Its most noticeable with weapons that fire in full auto, but it happens with all weapons in all classes.
This has been going on for months and it really is a pain in the ass to lose a gunfight because your weapons go rogue and leave you dangling in the breeze. It's hard enough to combat the sweaty try hards your matchmaking pairs me with without having to fight my weapons too. Please get something done about this. I'm not a PvP fan and this makes me want to play it even less.
*Edit* Thanks everyone for adding your voices to this issue, with any luck it will be fixed in the near future. If not, please keep raising the issue until it is, I know I will. And thanks to Cozmo for taking the time to acknowledge this problem.
*Update* Just got my third character to rank 5, still seeing this bug at a consistent rate of 4 to 5 times per match.
*Update* Cozmo just private messaged me to inquire about the type of controller I purchased recently. I've been hard on Bungie and Cozmo in particular, but this shows me that he is taking this seriously and making headway in to getting it fixed. So I wish to publicly praise him for following up and proving to me that he's doing whatever he can to help us. So to Cozmo, thank you and keep up the good work.

But I know that every match I hear my buddy raging about the "mother effing gun dropping out of ADS" and "I'll be glad when Far Cry comes out if this gun keeps dropping out of ADS." I know it frustrates him and he is pretty solid as a player so I say this is a issue players experience.

4 RepliesIt's 100% your controller, I just got a new one. There's a quick fix that works. Take your controller apart there's a spring in L2&R2 take them out and put back together. It will solve your problems, I had my controller like that for weeks. There's videos on YouTube.

Yes sir it does happen and it can be very annoying. Happens to me with shotguns and even the sword, glad I'm not alone here.
