Is the Galaxy S series of phones worth it

I recently broke my phone and had to pull out an IPhone 4 temporarily since I have always had a parent buy my phone it's always been an iphone because they didn't want to waste their money on an android if I didn't like it. (I don't really care about phones that much as long as it's not a windows phone) Anyways I've been looking into the Galaxy S series lately with the upcoming release of the S7 the price will go down on the Galaxy S5 and S6 but my question mainly directed towards Galaxy users. Is the S6 worth the money or should I get the S5 as it will be cheaper when the S7 comes out?

  • I stuck with my S5 because you can use a micro SD card for more storage, but not in the S6...I believe you will be able to again in the S7.

    • Galaxies are pretty good but the overlay on the Android system can be annoying sometimes. Something like an htc or nexus are also really good options

    • You could go and buy the cheapest android phone you can find and it would still be an upgrade from the best iPhone on the market. Galaxy series are great, I am more of an Xperia guy myself.

    • I switched over, and I regret nothing. Customization is way better, everything is pretty much connected to your Google account (so you only need to sign in once), it's more convenient all around then an iPhone
