IRON BANNER IS LIVE!
As you enter the clash to impress Lord Saladin, you'll experience the same new-and-improved matchmaking settings that were present in Control over the weekend.
Summary: The emphasis is focused on connection quality. There are still minimal filters in place to shield the casual from the hardcore. The technical quality of the match is our primary concern.
Damage Referee is also online. Players with poor connections will not enjoy a tactical advantage - quite the opposite in fact.
Get in there and play. Let us know how it feels. We know you will anyway, but we wanted to let you know that we're taking the things you say and putting them into practice.
Game on!!!

19 RepliesEnough with the goddamn salt, all of you. You all make me sick. Bungie is probably one of the only developers that actively listen to their communities. Have they made some faults in their attempts to fix things? Yeah. I even talk about it in an embarrassing thread I made because I got angry with how Bungie's focus was on Trials and not KF (Which they eventually did fix KF to an extent) But it doesn't mean you have to go ahead and crucify them for trying to fix something and getting it wrong. How the hell are you supposed to do something without breaking it, or making it more unfair? Do you know? Would you like to work for Bungie? Then go fix it yourself In regards to your cbmm, are you sure it's not just YOU? Is your router in clear line of sight to your console? Do you really have 130MB up down or whatever the hell you have, while doing speedtests and playing destiny at the same time? I guarantee you don't. I guarantee everyone else doesn't either, because every home is different every setup is different, and every location has different signal strengths via a clusterfuq of outside variables that BUNGIE DOESN'T CONTROL. If you don't like it, don't complain about it on here. The only thing you should be doing is either continue playing the game, shutting the hell up, stop playing the game, or be more appreciative of the fact that Bungie is listening to NOT JUST YOU, BUT EVERYONE. (Side note: if you say you're gonna delete/break/sell destiny, and you don't do it, that just means you're a hypocrite who can't commit) Deej, You and Bungie just keep doing you. Hopefully we as a community will try to be more respectful, and try to not be a bunch of salty peasants.
