All destiny playlists are defacto ranked. You can play as casually as you like but it's at your own peril. You can't expect your opponents to take it easy on you no matter your skill level. Attempting to match players' skill is an attempt to prevent significantly lopsided games and it's a necessary move for the benefit of [u]everyone[/u]. If [i]sometimes[/i] it's too the detriment of a few then so be it.
