I can't say yes, but I have heard stories from my parents of 30-year old people spending hours on that game. For it's time, it was cutting edge; and while it's not cutting edge anymore, it is still fun and beats many games today. Grapics, cutscenes, or pixels don't make a great game. It's the game itself.

I still have the issue where Half Life 2 and Halo 2 were reviewed. Halo 2 got a perfect 10 and is rated 110 on the list, and Half Life 2 got a 9.5 is rated all the way to number 5 on the list.

I love to see zelda on their but idk the greatest game of all time Super Mario Bros. 3 and Ocarina of Time is better and why isn't the dreamcast version on Sonic Adventure on there and why only one street fighter game and why was tekken 3 rated so low why it's the greatest fighting game ever and why is soul calibur on there and not soul calibur II which is a lot better why isn't Earthbound rated higher that game was awesome there are many faults to this list when i got the magazine two days ago i was shocked

Is it me or does it seem like magazines add the classics to the top of lists like this because they feel obligated? I mean, I understand these are the bases for all that's to come but that doesn't make it the most fun, long, interesting or whatnot game of all time. Well, judging by the posts read from page 4 - 6, it seems that some of you are pleased, enraged, and have an assassination plan for the people at Game Informer. I agree with some of your posts, people. For one thing, I am glad that Jak 3 was up there, and Crash Bandicoot. Naughty Dog is one of my favorite game designing companies, and I wish they never stopped making them. *goes in his room and plays Crash Bandicoot on his PSone* I agree with the fact that Cod4: MW should not be ahead of Halo CE. Some games must've been ranked high because whoever made this list must've been help at gunpoint, like I've stated before. Once again, this is all opinion (except for the gunpoint thing, that might've happened...), so one can't get but so mad.

The intention of the Halo series is not to be realistic, or "socially relavant." CoD MW is, and frankly it could do a better job. Some of the things in CoD are so far from the truth, of happening in actual modern warfare, so to speak, that it makes Halo seem realistic. Furthermore, what does social relavance have to do with the quality of a game? Was Zelda socially relavant? No. And it took the number one spot... Maybe I am misinterpreting your argument here, but please enlighten me.
