Exotics not being rewarded
I have been trying to get Zhalo Supercell since I missed it with Xur back in November 2015. Xur now sucks and doesn't ever seem to hand out anything worthwhile. I have run hundreds of Vanguard runs and Nightfall to no avail, and now I am running through tons of three of coins and am no longer receiving any Exotics.
What gives?
I thought the goal was to provide a path so players could achieve the loot they want. At least with Black Spindle, you either complete the raid or you don't. This seems hopeless and makes me want to quit playing and wasting my time.

Does Zhalo still drops? I got only duplicates of my exotics and no zhalo.

2 RepliesI don't know if they tweaked the loot system again or not but loots been pretty terrible the last few weeks. I've had greens dropping in the daily heroic mission. At least with a rare engram I can get maybe a mote or a strange coin. Wag the heck am I supposed to do with a green at 170? The loot system ha pretty much convinced me it's time to move one only reason I haven't is that I don't have the funds to spend on a new game or two at the moment. Bungies lack of interest in good content and rewarding their players is out right pathetic

I have received numerous exotics using this method, including two Zhalos. A short activity, such as Poe 28 or a story mission, also can be worthwhile. Last night I received an exotic engram from PoE 28. I put the engram in the vault because I have already collected so many exotics I don't need more of them.

Same here doing nightfall 3 week in a row and no exotic drop. I wnt that zhalo supercell.

Play Iron Banner. It seems there is a better drop rate in the crucible than PvE stuff. Played 4 matches and received an exotic. I'm hoarding all mine for the next upcoming release of exotics. Zhalo was the very first exotic I got but it is all luck with the RNG rewards system. I wanted Twlight Garrison so when Xur sold exotic chest engrams I bought 7 or 8 and all pretty much turned into Alpha Lupi's. 1 week later I had an exotic chest drop and it turned into a Twlight Garrison! Bungie said they wanted to reduce the grind for stuff but all they did was make it exactly the same or even worse.

7 RepliesEdited by jezreel01: 2/23/2016 8:03:42 PMKeep it up man...I get about 2-3 exotic drops per couple of days...using 3 of coins...the last couple of days have been harder to get drops but its ebbs and flows...try to make the last kill shot on the boss...I wait till health is really low and smash them with my sleeper...it seems to work for me most times.. If you are the one to kill the boss then chances are higher for an exotic drop (if you have 3 of coins on)...don't know if this is a fact but its what ive experienced ...I've had about 10 x 310 exotics drops and 4 or 5 290 exotic drops since taking this approach...or I might just be lucky...got a Zhalo @ 302 it was my favourite for awhile but now love the boltcaster so zhalo takes a back seat...
