Me and my friends have played trials since it came out. Every week the struggle was real. One of our friends went flawless with a group of his other friends during year one. Those two don't play destiny anymore.
So me and my regular team struggled to get to five wins for that armor piece. Months later we struggled to get to seven wins for the gun.
And last night we went flawless. First time for two of us. It took four cards to do it, but we stayed in.
No one got carried. We each had our epic match here and there, but for the most part we were pretty even with our kills.
This isn't really a bragging post. I just wanted to say to those struggling guardians out there, don't quit. It sucks, but practice every week. The haters actually had good advice. "Git gud". If you practice every week, more than one card too, you'll progressively get better. You'll finally git gud just like I did.
I'm not the best player, so if I can do it, anyone can. You'll run in to lag and grenades not hitting and headshots that don't land and lag and snipers galore. Stick with it. Find a group of two guys like you and grind every single weekend. You'll develop teamwork that you can't get with lfg. You'll know who is strong enough to flank alone, and when you need to stick together.
So to all the guardians out there who haven't been flawless, keep at it. You'll make it.

Congrats! I've recently been playing trials more and it's been mostly fun. Got to 8-0 on rusted lands before we lost. Went flawless on exodus blue but it was a freak occurrence, looking to get there with my clanmates soon.

Git gud

Congrats! Me and two of my friends always get to 7 wins then choke. You give me hope! :)
-
Yay! Congrats!
-
Congratulations! Ive been flawless about 8 times y2. Happy to see a first-timer beat the struggle!!!
-
Congrats dude. My fireteam is getting better. Sooner or later we will reach the lighthouse.
-
I used to make time for that (practicing). But then I realized my family is much more important than 'getting gud'. Now I hardly play anymore. Hop on maybe once every 2 weeks. This is my first post in months. The game just got too repetitive for me as well.

i have 23 flawless runs... all on day 1
-
Congratulations, man! I have yet to touch ToO in Year 2.

Thank you for this. Finally someone not complaining trying to make it easy, actually putting the work in to go flawless. Question, how did it feel to finally make it? Btw after the first time you'll find it less stressful an you'll begin to go one-3 times a week Next step- only mercy After that - no boons flawless run -have fun out there guardian And tbag everyone because hate mail is amusing, an a warlock will waste Their super because they're salty.
-
All about team chemistry, if your team has conflicting playstyles it wont be easy glad to here you got your flawless bud probably one of the best feelings in the game even if the rewards aren't the best.
-
I've still to go flawless, haven't really tried, but maybe looking to attempt during my holiday when I've got patience to try.
-
Good job bro. And I agree a lot of it is about practice. I was never a big PvP player before HoW was release with Trials Year 1. Being no raid and the best end game rewards coming fron trials I started the PvP grind. I am by no means the best PvP pkayer but my game has improved greatly and I have gone flawless multiple times. So keep up the good work and good for you for putting in the work!
-
Congratulations! I don't think I'll ever see the Lighthouse. Finding 2 people with the patience to strategize is too difficult.
-
Congrats guardian wear your emblem with pride.
-
I struggle to go flawless 3 times every week. I only go twice every week. I just don't have enough time sometimes or I run out of coins. Oh well, can't complain.
-
Nice work! A friend and myself have been getting sooo close! It's just hard to find that 3rd that can handle themselves when you don't have one already :/
