Make fire bolt damage distribute between targets.
I don't want to see a nerf to damage over time. So instead
Fire bolt deals like 160 damage. If 3 targets are in the proc area that's 160 each and burns.
If you take 160 and divide it by the number of targets inside. 1 target 160 . 2 targets receive 80 damage each and so forth.
The burn would remain the same however the mitigation of damage for being group would allow a faster recovery.
What do you guys think?
Plausible solution?

1 ReplyAll other grenades can hit multiple targets. What is with you people?

1 ReplyActually a really good idea. I thought they should actually buff the initial impact, but give it damage drop off. This would reward players with good grenade placement by killing people who they drop it on - but if the target is several meters away it does less damage and they don't burn for as long or as much. This would reward skilled players who have good grenade placement, and be less rewarding to those who just toss a grenade into a room and just go in when the enemy is on the verge of death. Because currently you can just toss a grenade into a room you think someone is in, and hit them and they will burn almost to the point of death. Completely destroying their ability to recover or hide from you with dot. When you can blast two players at once like this, in trials you have pretty much won if you do this.

No not plausible plz stop with nerf post and let bungie do wat they want.

2 RepliesPlausible solution to all nerfs ever: 1. Remove all abilities from PvP. No more super, grenades, or melee abilities. The armor, agility, and recovery stats will not function, either. 2. Remove heavy and special weapons from PvP. 3. The Khvostov is the only usable weapon in PvP and is given to everyone upon entering a match. Weapons are not swappable. 4. The only jump in PvP will be the single regular jump. No blink, lift, multijumps, or glide. PvE will be left alone because it's only the scrubs in PvP calling for nerf upon nerf when most things are perfectly goddamn fine.

9 RepliesIf you have a tripmine grenade and you're in the blast radius, you will get killed, so why nerf firebolt?
-
4 RepliesMake all burns half damage if stationary (time stays the same). Just means they have to push for the kill instead of running away. You can stand and fight or run away and die.

How about you go spend the money and develop your own game with all those bright ideas that you have.

10 RepliesHow about leave it the hell alone. Grenades are the only thing sunsingers have for a super. Derail the nerf trains! It's already been nerfed once and that's enough of this crap.
-
2 RepliesThey've been nerfed once. What do you want to never see them again? Honestly I use solar flares, 40 initial and then 19-20 DMG per second they stay in the dot plus the burn after. They can kill multiple targets and make a lot of one hits for assists on the rest and its great for hard scopers. I'd rather be hit by a firebolt honestly.

Great idea guys make it do 100. Then burn 22. Wow I'm a genius. It's as good as a lightning grenade.
