Alright, this is probably the biggest thing I've ever decided to make. Not just a Strike, not just a Raid. A WHOLE MOTHERFÜCKING EXPANSION. The original idea was posted by someone else when I posted my own Cabal Raid way back in like September or October last year, and I decided to make it a reality. [b][u]NOTE:[/u][/b][b] this is only a teaser. I'm still making everything else.[/b] Cabal Expansion: Forge of Gods Cinematic Trailer The scene is on Phobos, in the abandoned Fleetbase Korus. 1 lone computer is still active, its orange screen lighting up the dark room. It picks up a Cabal transmission that gets louder as the camera slowly zooms in on the computer. The scene suddenly changes to a massive fleet of Cabal ships warping into the Solar System around the remains of the Dreadnaught. All of the ships are flying past the Dreadnaught as well as the Capital ship, The Long Night, which warps in, and flies over the Hive ship, making the Dreadnaught look like a child's plaything. Inside the ship stands the Emperor, who is a Psion dressed in all black with a long cape. Another Cabal speaks to him, asking if they should begin the assault. The Emperor declines, saying they shall not until they find what they are looking for. As he says this, he looks to a computer screen that shows a holographic image of Mars. The scene changes again to the surface of the Red Planet. The Emperor stands in front of the gate to the Black Garden. He reaches his hand out towards the gate. Inside the Garden, the Gatelord Eye, which still sits in the boss area of the last mission of Vanilla Destiny, suddenly activates. This causes the gate to the Garden to be accessible. The Emperor, with armies of Cabal behind him, look to the gate as Vex come pouring out to defend the Garden. The Cabal aim their weapons, but the Emperor signals them to hold their fire. They obey, and the Vex also don't attack surprisingly. The Emperor motions for the Cabal to bring something to him. A Cabal comes forth, carrying the body of a dead Titan. The corpse is laid down next to the Emperor, the Vex watching silently and curiously. The Emperor clenches a hand of the Titan, and Solar Energy begins flowing into him. Suddenly, the Emperor activates Hammer of Sol himself, then orders the Cabal to open fire as he charges at the Vex, throwing hammers along the way. When the 2 armies are about to clash, the camera cuts to black. The expansion title Forge of Gods fades in, as a menacing version of Cabal Stomp plays. Thanks for feedback! Just as a day 1 progress report, the Raid and 2 Strikes are already finished, and the basic concept for the story is in place.
