How To Be A (Dumb) Raider 101
1: When you die, always remember to scream "What the -blam!-!?" in a confused manner. When your teammates ask what happened, tell them it was lag, or a glitch. It's [i]never[/i] your own fault. [i]Ever.[/i]
2. If you're a hunter, you are born with the ability to solo totems by default. No, seriously. You can totally solo totems.
3. When your team tells you to wipe, continue shooting at the mobs and doing the encounter. Show them that you got this.
4. Every single time you die, tell your team you're going outside to take a smoke break.
5. After you defeat Atheon, remember to tell your team to prepare for Xylar.
6. You don't need to know what counter clockwise is. Trust me.
7. Destiny is an FPS. You don't need to know how to platform.
8. Always start a raid 30 miniutes before dinner. You can totally finish it by then.
9. Your raid team would absolutely [b][u][i]LOVE[/i][/u][/b] to hear your favorite songs.
10. If you're a Defender, always place your bubble in front of the team, so they can see it.
11. Make sure you're red barring. The Darkness hates lagswitchers.
Now, get out there and raid!

Always allow the last member who joins the team.. to jump in and tell everyone what he is and isn't going to do.. and what your new roles are now that he has graced you with his help

#12 Have your game chat in your head set; and your game volume go through your $6000 7.1 Surround sound system at 120dB just to let everyone know how cool you are. You can't hear anyone and no one can hear you over the excessive noise. But that's fine, they need to know how loud your TV is. Right?

5 Replies19. Use the weapons that you think are good. Who cares what your veteran teammates say? 20. Make sure you have an accurate simulation of a chainsaw massacre in the background at all times. 21. Always scream and never stop talking. Silence means that nobody is concentrating. 22. Always give terrible advice. You love that scout rifle, therefore it can instantly kill Oryx. 23. Bellow into the mic about whatever your friends got. They may not be in the raid, but everybody in your Fireteam should know.

9 Replies14. If you've done a raid 5 or less times, please tell everyone else what to do and when to do it when you're joining a veteran raid team. The raid team will appreciate the pointers. 15. Always give the John Madden play by play while doing the raid. Everyone one the raid team is highly interested in every little thing you do. 16. Always suggest a way to cheese every part of the raid, regardless of how ridiculous it may sound or even if its slower than doing it legit. This will ensure you to establish your raid cred. 17. If you screw up and cause the team to wipe, blame the lag and then promptly rage quit. Everyone expects to do every raid flawlessly. 18. If you are on Oryx and miss your knight, please do not tell anyone. No one will probably notice.

Edited by Ken_Malibu: 2/19/2016 8:22:46 PM147. At a loot inspection break, wait until a fellow guardian says how they still don't have their 320 helmet/gloves/boots, make sure you tell them you have 5 spare in your vault and nothing to infuse them into anymore. It will help to raise their spirits.

Make sure you use golden gun or hammer of sol on the boss cause it does so much damage, and be sure to make no orbs what so ever.

16. Show up in the hard raid with 302 light and state at Oryx, "I'm on add duty" 17. Make sure you have the microphone as close to your mouth as Steven Tyler does in concert 18. Make sure you are breathing so heavy into the mic so your fellow raiders know you are either ecstatic about the next stage of the raid or your guardian is not a proper representation of your own physical fitness.

1 ReplyChips and crackers are the perfect snack for raid time. Smoke your bong loud and proud! Everyone else just *wishes* they could be getting baked while playing! Remember to leave your mic on when you go to the bathroom. Your team will be "relieved" to know how you relieve yourself.
