I did clear the cache and that helped, however I'm still getting random caterpillar and banjo errors. Clearing the cache however did resolve my screen freeze / lock up issue after the start menu. I'm running a Xbox. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds, the console will shut down then. Wait 30 seconds after shut down then restart. If successful you should see the big green Xbox start up screen. Hope this helps.
