when i try to use high aim assist snipers i seem to miss shots more than i do when i use lower aim assist ones
to clarify i miss nearly every drag scope with 1kys but hit very frequently when using eirene
is this just me or do other people have this problem?
not that it's a real problem i have an eirene with performance bonus and clown mag/mulligan so it's great but it just seems weird to me that i'm bad at the high aim assist snipers
I miss with 1k, yet hit with icebreaker (I actually use it for the whole match) eirene, and black spindle

6 RepliesHigh aim assist is for Snapshoting, and low is for Dragscopes. Thus 1KYS, Defiance, Icebreaker, etc are good for piping in and out and tagging headshots. Where rifles like Eiriene, Hereafter, and Black Spindle and best for dragging.

1 ReplyIt's all muscle memory man. You adapt to the amount of aim assist the gun you're using has when you mainly drag scope. If it's low, you adapt. If it's high, you adapt. Perfect example: I tried playing on a new controller that had much higher tension in the sticks. Couldn't hit a god damn thing. Switched back, everything was normal again. If I had just stuck with the new controller it would have been a grueling 2 weeks then I would have been back to normal. It's all in the thumbs.

Idk man! Even though 1k has more aa and I got myself a 1k w/ hidden hand, I find myself doing much better w/ stillpiercer. Yet again am not a very good sniper, but I landed headshots w/ stillpiercer more than any other sniper.

It's just your muscle memory... Takes a little playtime to get used to.

4 RepliesIn one on one the aim assist should help. But as soon as there are more than one enemy it will start to hinder you.
